Aside from hurting his feelings I doubt losing 100k doesn't mean a whole lot.

Unfortunately the structure of the internet is such that so long as a person keeps uploading frequently (sometimes even if they don't), they're going to keep making money, and Jim makes more than enough money that even if he were to experienced a 10% drop in patrons every year the fat fucker would still be fine for years to come.

There are just too many codependent, parasocial whackjobs online, and it only takes a few to have it made.

In fact now that I'm mulling it over there's a specific term that comes to mind when I think of a smaller number of emotionally/mentally vulnerable people who can be exploited to provide the majority of someone's income for very little in return: whales.

Not really, speaking from the land, we had plenty acess to the SNES and further console gens through piracy.

Hell, I was burning my own PS1 and PS2 discs back in the day, I played a LOT of shit.

The Master System nostalgia people have over here is just that, nostalgia and some quaint quirks that the Master System had over here thanks to the tec Toy company that was still invested and making games for the console till the late 90's, like porting Street Fighter II to a 8 bit console.

Also, because Tec Toy (the brazilian company responsible for Sega games distribution on Brazil) kept supporting the systems way, WAY beyond their lifespan with unique games to the region, people sorta developed a nationalistic pride around it.

But don't be fooled by some assholes saying that they "Loved the master System", everybody here was playing SFII on the snes cracked in China.

I have some found memories from my Master System days, but no way in fuck those games were better than the NES ones, no kid would play Alex Kidd over Mario. And as soon as I managed to get my cracked SNES, adios Master System, it was fun.

And yes, I know the MS also had sonic games, and they were fine (Chaos mostly), but they were no where near as good as the Mega Drive ones.

I unsubbed around the time of the Fallout 4 video (so around 2015-2016). I tried my best to watch that video, but instead of talking about actual gameplay, the sex-obsessed weirdo talked about all the degenerate sexual shit he could do in the game, and in a way where you could tell it wasn't an idonic gig or joke but in an overly eager manner, even for the type of degenerate that puts porn mods on Skyrim. This is the first time I've seen his thread since Totalbisuit's death and I'm not surprised Jim is a tranny now.

I dont know Jim personally but I met them in real life in 2014/2015 at screw attack gaming convention ((hard to believe 8 years ago most of the gamer tier lowcows used to be happier people.)) But one could sense they were unhappy. I used to think it was introversion but now i think seeing them now its different.

DSP manages 2/3, but the 3/3 full package is pretty much unique I guess.

In Europe the Master System was very succesful compared the official NES (the Dendy and Pegasus being probably more common than the official NES), with it becoming a budget option in the 90s. Its main appeal compared to home computers were arcade ports that also had instant loading. There was also lots of PAL exclusive Master System titles.
