Reply bug - I wrote a few drafts of why this is stupid but it fundamentally comes down to you can't reward people for being incompetent, and you can't punish people for being successful. All this does is mean that you serve one term padding your public reputation, then fuck off to wealth forevermore - its not a crime to not solve any of your constituents problems, and there's no benefit to getting reelected, but there's a huge benefit to being elected the first time.

All this will drive is a push for everything to become an elected position, for elected officials to not do anything, and for the laziest and most manipulative to worm their way in and then never worry again.

Reel mowers? Great States, Scott's and American Lawn Mower still offer them, as well as Fiskars. Sadly, they're all made in fucking China.

Maybe because they don't want to, because if they did, ballots couldn't start appearing for a preferred candidate in droves after election day until that candidate won.

They'd be a lot worse off than they are now if we were a democracy. There'd be a lot of referendums going through to kick most of these assholes out of office.

It isn't just Pennsylvania and Republicans already having election fuckery, its Oregon with the democrats right now, too. The 2022 primary season and midterms promise to be an all-timer fraud fiesta. There's all the usual fraud that will happen on election "day" (yeah, right!), plus democrats fending off the proggies and the establishment RNC shitheads trying to fuck over the "MAGA" republicans. No matter what happens, the 2022 outcome isn't going to considered genuine by at least half the country, it'll be worse than 2020.

Huge money laundering opportunity after they lost out on Iraq and Afghanistan being the open cash register they were in the GWOT "glory" days, plus the promise of turning Russia into a looting festival like the Soviet Union crackup and TurboUkraine during some sort of Marshall Plan rebuild with the appropriate stooges in place. It could easily be a bigger pig out at the trough than Afghanistan and Iraq, we're talking 10 trillion plus.
Apart from that, there's certainly a tremendous amount of ethnoreligious hatred against Slavs for some reason.

None of this is good for the typical citizen in a Western country, but they don't matter. Just remember when you're seeing shortages and prices being two or three times higher than they used to be for essential services like fuel and heating and cooling your house, that you're sticking it to Putin. Cold? Put on a sweater and stick it to Putin. Hot? Go naked and point a large oscillating fan at yourself. Stick it to Putin!
