Yes, it can get pretty damn humid in northern Europe in summer these days, there is a distinct difference with southern Europe where the heat is dry. It's bad enough that when it's a very hot summer it makes me physically ill if I have to move a lot during the day. It's not rainforest- or tropic region level humid, though.
