You have all my sympathies. I had a similar problem at my workplace. I cured it in part by installing an obnoxious 24/7 outdoor music broadcast system directed toward the homeless gathering places and encampments.

I've said it before - it feels like "real life is getting cancelled" by such tech over-saturation.

There's a lot of tourists around GA and they cannot drive for the life of them. And it's crowded.

People just can’t get it through their heads that the reason interstate on-ramps are so long is so you can build up speed before you merge.

No, they’d rather pull into a high speed situation doing 45-50mph. I can’t even imagine how many accidents are caused by that stupidity.

They’re in what I like to call “vacation mode” meaning everything they do is slow and stupid. They’d probably get upset at ppl acting like they do in their own cities, yet they just can’t help themselves while they’re on holiday. It’s like they keep their brains set to stupid.

Plus a waitress with nice tits, a good ass and a reasonably nice demeanor can STACK cash. I know one who can easily clear $600+ a night no matter what and on holiday weekends or hell Friday and Saturday night walks out with $1,000+ in tips....

Most 2016+ MY cars with touchscreens use capacitive screens as well. They aren't quite as sensitive as phones due to cost, touch targets trying to be more forgiving, cost and automotive use hardening aka it needs to reliably work for 10+ years in temps ranging from 20 F to 125F

I never do that because that's reckless but if someone is relentlessly ass-riding me for no goddamn reason at all (and it is not some understandable situation where I would pull off and let them pass), I just put on cruise control. And then decrease my speed by like 1 mph for every minute they keep doing it. And if they take the hint and back off, I go back to a normal speed immediately.

Since my usual speed is something like exactly 7mph above the speed limit, nobody has any reason to bitch and I will get as passive-aggressive as I like with these tailgating fucks. And I always smile sweet as pie at them if they so much as look at me. Yes, I'm annoying the fuck out of you, but even a crazy hick like you isn't going to whip out a gun over that, lmao.

I have too, repeatedly. The one ethnicity of tourists who are utterly adorable are the Japanese, though. Chinks are the absolute worst. Drunken Germans can either be great fun or an absolute disaster.

My PC is absolutely decrepit. When there are times it runs so slow it almost stops almost every time, later I realise that some automatic, unstoppable, Windows update has been downloading in the background.

It's so decrepit that Windows sends me a message that it can't handle the Windows 11 update. Good! When I get a new PC I'm going to fill it full of Ubuntu or something.

You absolutely can control the how and when Windows 10 updates, it's pretty simple. I set it to go off in the middle of the night, and it courteously warns me if I am coming up on that time as well. Very much of Windows' beefs that people have are very controllable with only a very little going into the mmc or control panel, or even fucking googling if you must.

As for Windows 11, My i5 4Ghz box with 16gb and a Radeon somethingorother that needs a water cooling system it's so fast and hot and plays everything under the sun at high to ultra is reporting that it's too decrepit for Windows 11 so fuck Windows 11. Ignore that shit.

I fucking hate that youtube will spam your feed with those "community posts" considering its become a content farm for literal who channels to post their shitty memes or polls, and whenever something slightly political happens, they jump with "trendy" memes. And no matter how many times I click "don't show posts from this channel" it will still flood it. Honestly probably the worst thing youtube has done in the past few years in my opinion.
