Pasta is fine, it's just a carbohydrate people have a habit of over serving. A serving size of pasta is remarkably small and when you're adding on top of it heavy cream or oil based sauces with greasey meat, even a moderate looking plate is excessive.

The problem with most of these carb sources (other than pasta) like bread, especially white bread, and pasta sauce, especially store bought, is they're both loaded with sugar and store-bought sauce always has excessive amounts of sodium, too. Also alfredo, you might as well just sit down and eat a stick of butter whole.

A bit of pasta with a bit of butter or olive oil and fresh ground parmigiano is a fine light meal. Even just chopping up a few plum tomatoes and sauteeing them in oil makes it slightly prettier. Anyway it was wasted on a rage pig who would obviously be happier eating from a pig trough as his sort prefer.

And AFAIK if you get locked up you can't bond/bail out. You have to pay that owed child support.

Obviously it costs way more. The plane ticket is $1400 to and from Richmond to Libson. If it really is a five-star hotel for 2 weeks, thats also an easy $200 a night, and food for the Gunt, which probably is at least 75% of the total cost.

No way Gunt is in the “five star hotel” but Lisbon is fucking cheap for hotels, and the exchange rate on USD is great right now. The most expensive Lisbon hotels (the Four Seasons and some other new place) is like $320 a night! When I look at the most expensive hotels in an major American city you get $900 and up. In a vacation spot or major city $350 is just average for an nice (not great) American hotel.

I was booking hotels in a USA coastal area next month and anything decent where you can see water starts at $550 a night. Maybe I should go to Europe to save some fucking money.

Unfortunately, while two states have jurisdiction over the Gunt to enforce an award, in both of them (California and Virginia) it is a misdemeanor. However, there is no limit to the length a coercive contempt civil order could keep you. Quite literally, they can hold you until you comply. As they say in the case law, the prisoner has the key to his own cell.

They generally only do the latter if virtually certain you actually have the funds to comply and are simply willfully refusing to do so. And a lot of people jailed this way suddenly find they did have the ability to pay after all.

Ralph was unaware of the presence of Dan at first, because I am 100% certain he would have thought twice about approaching Cog, if he knew there was another guy there.
While this sounds sensible on the surface, it’s most likely that Ralph thought he could bully or at least take Cog physically because of previous behavior towards him.
He would not have picked on Cog in the first place if he thought Cog might be able to beat him up. Even online.
