Rate me autistic if this is a stretch, but it seems like he had a single "positive" interaction with Fredrik "behind da scenes" and now he's going full boar into milking Fred's content for react-bux. Falls neatly in line with what Rambo and Howard said about how he just uses his friends for content. Phil probably thinks he and Fredrik are buddies now or something, so he feels comfortable milking him.

He'll never have friends again, he's so far gone. One reasonably nice interaction with another content creator and all he sees is the green light.

Phil will milk anything if he can sniff out a few dollars in it. His whole vest streak started from a dumb meme during one of his retrospective events and he milked it so hard it became a cornerstone of his "business".

I agree. As Phil was updating the tips goal he said "I did it early, before break"- clearly referring to updating the tips goal, because that's what he was doing. Doody thinks it meant "I tipped myself early before break". This is a case of someone hearing what they want. I'm not gonna be dishonest about something stupid Phil did, theres plenty of real things to laugh at. This just makes tractors look deluded.

To add to that, OMM(/PlanetJeff)'s $25 is basically considered to be $0 to DSP. It's a given he's getting it, it's already spent in his mind. He'd rather it be entirely memoryholed and unmentioned by all, including himself. A random person giving $5 is more exciting than PlanetJeff's expected daily church tithe.

On the other hand, 1mm could be Phil. Not in the sense that he's tipping himself, but that he's pretending he's still receiving his daily allowance from 1mm. Do tips still pop up on screen? Or are people basing it off of what Phil reads off?

Yeah it's pretty obvious that phil just uses the 1mm tip in a way where he can feign no support for a beg or get close to goal to bait more tips, doesn't mean he's tipping himself. planetjeff theory makes infinitely more sense. making videos stating 1mm is phil as if it's a fact while having shaky evidence is retarded.
