I always found that funny.
Phil cries and whines about detractors being bullies and that people fuck with him for no reason. And yet, back in his SRK days, he was pretty much a (weak as fuck) troll. He'd hijack threads just to fuck with people in order to start money matches he would always back out at, he'd shit talk top players, he'd start shit. All that just to worm his way into the big leagues by being the fighting game community's biggest piece of shit.
14 years later, and now he's a victim of "bullying" and bullying is wrong and "those detractors constantly try to defame me" and "muh duhpression, it's tough, gais" and all this other pussy shit. Fucking with people was a-okay when it brought him free clout, but now that he's the target, suddenly it's wrong and their trying to ruin his life. Funny how that works.

His reaction content is one of the worst I have seen of him. And that is saying a lot! I mean there are a lot of walking-sims and skybores that are unwatchable. But his "reaction" streams are beyond that.
I still find is hard to believe how he can extend a reaction stream to be 98% of him talking and 2% is the video he reacts too! That is obviously his narcissism!
Him trying to beg even harder based upon that... yeah that is DSP
Even with restreamers and music added and sound bites "his" streams are almost unwatchable.
It's worse than that, we have no idea how much he spends on iTunes gift cards, since the transactions in the leaks show his bank account being charged directly by the app. Unless we have access to his shopping receipts or can see inside the of his shopping cart, we won't. So those are the bare minimum he spent on champions before any gift cards.He went bankrupt to play this game and the bank leaks show him missing payments on his real bills to buy gift cards

He keeps talking about the timeline being disjointed, I don't think he realises this is just two friends on a podcast talking about how they felt and what happened.

That “I need your help” video ending was beautiful. He’s slowly cracking up…the anger at stuff “I don’t care about or follow” is fucking real. No shot I’m watching that whole react thing…but it seems like it was fuckin chaotic failure.

This is an amazing thing to behold. The begging has been getting more intense and desperate the past couple of months.
I think there are multiple factors involved in this:
1. Obviously the amount of tips has been decreasing slowly since the start of this year. He hits his arbitrary tips mostly once, sometimes twice a week, and the pool of whales has been getting smaller and smaller. He has received $1,500 less per month on average this year so far compared to the average amount of tips per month in 2021. If not for OneMinuteMan, that would actually be $2,250 per month less on average, just to show how VERY dependent he is on individuals forking over hundreds of dollars per month.
2. His "reaction"-type content isn't doing as well as he had hoped, and at best gets about the same amount of financial support, and half of the time even worse. I think he was kinda betting on this content being his "retirement", which all of a sudden doesn't seem so lucrative/secure.
3. Something's up with Kat. I noticed he has been mentioning her more often these past months, whether it be her being home all the time (jobless?), to her being annoyed at the type of "work" DSP does; he needs to shut the door because she hates it when she hears his mongoloid-like screaming (can't blame her, really), and she hates it when he does "overtime" which causes him to be in "the office" for pretty much the whole day. And now I can imagine, with the money from said work seemingly drying up slowly, it puts more pressure on the relationship that has never looked very genuine or robust to begin with.
I do want to note, however, that I fully expect some sad individual(s) to come out of the woodwork to extend DSP's "career", which has been on never-ending life support. It's how it always goes, so I won't be surprised when (not if) that happens.
But yeah, more reason to sit back and watch this shit show while it lasts, with his supporters paying for our Lolcow Netflix subscription.
Oh, and I love how DSP now thinks he has outdone himself because he watched some clips of him being a lying, slimy cunt and calling himself a lying, slimy cunt. That's nothing special, DSP, because that's what actual normal, non-hermit, non-narcissistic people do on a regular basis.

What am I missing? If he didn't monetize the John and Howard segments but asked for money before and after the reaction segments "to make up for" not receiving anything during the John and Howard stuff, isn't that still the same thing as monetizing them?
He's basically saying he still expects to make money for doing the reaction stuff but he just wants the money after instead of during. Thats literally still making money from the reaction stream.
What kind of pignosis is he doing to himself? This doesn't even make any sense. "You guys should give me money to make up for the stream where I didn't accept money". Ok so you're accepting money for doing that stream..

It's more like you still paid for the coffee but he didn't put it in the register. He wasn't openly begging but he was still collecting all the usual money. All he was foregoing was the possible 3 cents ad revenue.
Just as the people you are begging from - the actual mature adults that made sure they have jobs to pay their bills - have the right to ask where the money is actually going. lol Cry harder Phail.

He's so used to lying, and lies constantly, that "just being honest" became a tic of his without him knowing it (like how says "that being said" every five minutes, usually incorrectly). While we all overanalyze Phil, his facial expressions, body language, and choice of words while he's lying are so obvious that no analysis is required. Luckily he has a group of special needs fans who don't care if he lies constantly.

To add to that this idiot doesn't even know what react content really is. He did research on 3 of his 4 react videos. 2 of them were about him and they turned into debunking then really reacting. And what do you know those react segments aren't exactly bringing butts in the seats (at least from my point of view a channel with 198k subs should get more then under 10k views for such content) or perhaps change the perception of those who know about him. Midlife crisis Phil seems to be in full effect
It's all a semantics game to Phil. He's not asking to be paid for that stream, he's asking to be paid in place of the money he didn't make that stream (even though he still made money on it and didn't turn SCs off and allowed superthanks on the re-uploads but ads we're off on stream, that's what matters most, right guys).
The whole "not monetised" bullshit was him trying to have some moral victory over them. They predicted that he'd still find ways to monetize them long after they were out of his life and even he had to know how bad it would look if he did his usual shit in the middle of it after they said that. You are looking way too deep into a lie that he made to try and preemptively get one over on them. He's just upset that he's not made as much as he wanted to for it and the day afterwards.
