All I need to do to stop getting pissed off at this man’s smug profile pic and retardedly high metrics is-
To remember none of it is real.
Just laugh at his stupid profile pic where he's pretending to be a street smart sage tough guy.
Everything about it is fake, down to the angles of the photo (pretending to be a barrel chested old-timer yet as soon as you see any other picture you realize he's a meth-skinny twig).
Laugh that this is the best he could do in life; professional political whore. And not even a top-class whore making millions and having properties all over; he sold himself for less than a warehouse assistant manager makes per year and lives in one of the shittiest cities in the second shittiest state in the US. Even when he wins he loses.

The problem is a great lack of engagement with the rest of the forum, which has created a culture conflict. Think of it like a bunch of immigrants setting up camp in a previously culturally homogenous area.
so you're saying A&H are the Sandniggers to KiwiFarms' Sweden?

This will be a slight bit off-topic but I just wanna muse a bit.

I am saddened that the Democrats have poisoned certain topics beyond recovery. My own pet one is climate and environmental issues.

It should not be a hard case to -conservatives- to -conserve- nature. There were so many avenues of argument that it beggers belief.

Conservation of nature: "We have such lovely natural beauty and splendour, perhaps we should help to maintain it more?"
Independence & Self/Community-Reliance: "Encourage recycling to reduce our reliance on foreign oils and products. Consider community composting and vegetable growing. Carpooling can help tie communities together."
Religion: "Did God not bequeath Earth to man and command him to rule it? And is not a part of rule the act of safeguarding?"

And I can keep going. These issues should in theory by bipartisan as fuck because unlike something like guns, or taxes, or almost anything else "Preserving Nature" has no real hard reason to be a political divide.

But they -made- it a political divide, went balls to the wall nuts on it, made apocolyptic predictions which never come true. and poisoned the very concept of the issue for generations.

They can take their "soccer" and stick it up their collective ass. Our Second Amendment rights have been infringed upon far too much as it is. Believe every mass shooter broke several gun laws plus killing people. Stop punishing the law-abiding. Dumb to promulgate laws people will ignore whenever possible, and that criminals will never even notice.

Just mention Teddy Roosevelt was pro conservation and he was the most bad ass President. Thrifting also helps the enviorment by preventing items from going to the landfill and saves you money.

I share your sentiment in specific, and in general. One of my pet causes is justice/police reform/improvement. We have the best justice system in the world as it is, but we could do more in criminal, civil, and family court.

You can't bring it up at all, though, without the nerves rubbed raw by Defund the Police sending everyone into screaming fits.

Edit: Mayor Buttchug caught the coof:

Now he gets to spend more time molesting taking care of his babies instead of trying to fix the supply chain issue that his president's admin caused. Oh, how convenient.
If Rittenhouse hadn't had his weapon his family would have a dead son and there would have never been a trial.
"All the more reason to ban them, sweaty!" - shitlibs
  1. Heavy reliance on Biden coming out and making very well approved, statesmanlike speeches.

Nothing more needs to be said.

It is my sincere hope that the Democrats collapsing alongside a rise in populism will give rise to more pressure to seek real solutions to many of these problems. The underlying issues won't go away with the Democrats gone, just remove the massive exaggeration and hyperbole.

that's been a bigger one for DeSantis than a lot of GOP, but tbf it's probably an easier sell in a state that's known for its wetlands and nature stuff among other things

DeSantis is case #1 for why I have the hope I said just above your post. Someone without the hyperbolic pressure of Democrats but with the populist pressure of his voters seeking real solutions to problems that the Democrats used to shout about.

While I am somewhat leery of DeSantis' motivations as a whole, he is a good example of how a populist platform can keep a politician clean.

@Gehenna Do you think the SCOTUS is going to hold off on the heavy stuff until the end of the month so they don't have a headache for the rest of their opinions? It's a theory I've heard and agree with, and I'd like your opinion on it to help gauge how off the mark/dumb it is.
More inclined to think they will put it out earlier based on past actions by the court. They generally prefer to get the heavy shit out first so that people aren't bitching about the small ones and working themselves into a lather. Though so much of their current heavy load is... unprecedented. So God knows.

Not him, but try to stop me from injecting my opinion.

I hope not. I do not think the SCOTUS should ever consider what the common mob will do or how they will react to their opinions.
Once considerations how parts of the public reacts or if they will be offended start influencing how/when/what the court speaks it has lost its legitimacy.
