NO ONE IS EVER REALLY GONE! Furloni gets to resurrect another one of his stale ass characters.
Their idea of canon is "It's just all made up, so we can do whatever we want. The character isn't real, so who cares if he dies in our show and turns up somewhere else lol".

The truth of the matter is, they picked that character for brand recognition, thought it would be nice to kill him off for drama without realizing that this violates canon, so now they make vague remarks about the audience just having to sit back down and wait to see how this works out. Protip: they'll just hope people will forget about it.

@5t3n0g0ph3r if its not too much trouble, would it be possible to add this video to the OP too since Filoni is the only Lucasfilm executive that I didn't cover? And this video does a better job of explaining his role and actions than any minibio I could write.
Sure, but can you provide a blurb about Filoni's role as an introductory for the video?

There's so much to say I don't know where to start...

How about this:

---------------------------
Dave Filoni

Dave Filoni
(Executive Creative Director, former cartoon showrunner and avid wolf fetishist) is the current head of Disney Lucasfilm's story group and creative efforts moving forward. While usually touted as the "savior" of the franchise and treated with divine reverence by younger fans for the creation of Ahsoka, Dave Filoni has caused more harm than good during his long career with Lucasfilm.

Originally a storyboard artist who rose to prominence after serving as director for several episodes of Avatar the Last Airbender's first season, Filoni was scouted by George Lucas to head his new animated series based around the Clone Wars era of media (acting as a pseudo-spiritual successor to Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars miniseries from 2002) in hopes of attracting the same level of attention to the new series as A:TLA, a decision that would ultimately give rise to a rather chaotic age that would begin as George's misguided informant and creative lead to usurping George himself, to the point of even denying George's desire to kill off one of Filoni's pet characters, and ultimately replacing him within Disney's Lucasfilm years later while never even bothering to adapt George's original Underworld series (the main reason he even sold SW to Disney in the first place), a rather ironic turn of events as George had originally intended to mold Filoni into his successor after his own children refused to take up the family legacy, with things only being made worse by Filoni not only moving attention away from George's own creations but Filoni putting all focus on his own creations instead to the point where some of his creations now hold more prominence and importance than most characters that came before, even the original trilogy protagonists, with Filoni's most notable creation Ahsoka now being seen as the new face of the franchise.

Dave Filoni's efforts throughout all his shows have been notable for not only his very weak writing style, which has been compared to pointless sidequests or macguffin chases seen in video games, but he has also been noted for his inability to portray realistic battle scenes and his inability to maintain consistent continuity and characterization with not just past films and material (even turning Obi-Wan into a Jack Sparrow expy and Anakin into a stereotypical swashbuckler with none of the nuance of Genndy's re-imaginings) but even his own creations lack consistency, with errors even occurring multiple times within not just the supposedly "interconnected" shows, but even multiple inconsistencies existing within a single one of his many shows' seasons.
1654554384126.png
Even when other writers tried to question Filoni, they would quickly be shut down by either Filoni himself or by him snitching to George when things didn't go his way, something George himself was finally forced to accept after Filoni's changes to The Wrong Jedi. But his most unusual contribution is his chronic desire to insert wolves or allude to them in everything he's involved with, a desire that stems from his fixation with the film and novel Never Cry Wolf by Marley Fowat, noted for his autobiography where he sexually experimented with dogs and even the protagonist of his book has a rather chronic obsession with wolves. Filoni carries these views to their most extreme (minus the sexual fetishization which we have not yet witnessed) to the point of not only making deceased jedi become wolves but even making wolves gods, the protectors of the universe and even the teachers of humanity, and there are even cartoon wolves who guard the core of reality. He has even named his in-universe self-insert "Trapper Wolf".

1654554478281.pngHis wolf-fetishism aside, Filoni is also noted for his unrelenting favoritism towards characters he becomes attached to, being unable to kill any of his favorite creations and giving them the most ridiculous methods of survival, even reviving a throwaway spider alien multiple times because of his preference for him. At one point, Filoni even wanted to revive jedi master Plo Kloon, a character who was clearly blown to smithereens during the events of Revenge of the Sith, with some of his arguments for his survival getting so bad that George had to outright state that if Filoni ever brought him back he would just kill him in a more horrible fashion. To make up for this, Filoni overexposed the character in his first animated series and even initially planned to have him back for the Mandalorian which some tried to poorly pass off as a "prank". His most notable obsession though is Ahsoka, a character he grew feverishly attached to and has her become the ultimate lynchpin of the franchise, being involved in many of its major events and even having her be the only pre-Disney character, alongside the bastardized versions of Chewbacca and Lando (now known as Landonis), to survive past Disney's sequel trilogies, even comparing her to the likes of Tolkien's Gandalf, a role he previously reserved for Yoda.

1654556301930.png
Despite these flaws, Filoni has still managed to attract a large fanbase mainly comprised of not just disney drones, but younger fans who (as previously noted) grew up with Filoni's Clone Wars as their entry into Star Wars, and who many of which have obsessive or romantic fixations with Ahsoka Tano, to the point where they consider the idea of her getting the "Jake Skywalker treatment" as the last straw rather than realizing things went to shit when everyone else in the franchise received the Jake treatment. Another large portion of the fanbase stems from his involvement with the Mandalorian, which many saw as "saving" Star Wars" from the sequels, while failing to realize that Filoni himself was also involved with the sequels (as noted in the picture to the left), even being the one to make some of its most controversial suggestions, and was even mentored on live action film making by Rian Johnson, and that Filoni and Favreau have admitted that the point of the Mandalorian is to introduce the First Order to serve as an entry into the sequel era to begin increasing appeal for it. And despite what little good grace the show managed to win back, it was quickly discarded for the sake of preserving status quo and ensuring the Skywalker downfall, and all so they could continue to sell gremlin dolls.

If any doubts persist, you can learn more about the details in the video and links below.

How's that @5t3n0g0ph3r? I tried to keep it short, but there's just too much to say and then some but I'm not sure how I can squeeze it all in to a small size or keep out anything else. Hopefully the video and the links can do the rest. If anyone wants to suggest any edits to shorten the length or improve the quality (or wants to offer some details to add to the bio) then let me or @5t3n0g0ph3r know.

Very well done video, and you gotta love the ratio'ing delusional Dave Fans are throwing this video's way. God forbid they have to face that Maul's revival was as fucking retarded as Sheev's revival from Plan IX.
It's a real nugget, I went back and tried to watch some of his other videos and his attempted take down of star wars theory is just embrassing. I don't know how you can fail a takedown at such a normie tier content creator-

@The handsome tard
I recall a video that explained the politcs of SW and one of the top comments said

"George Lucas put a mirror in front of American society and we smashed the mirror and walked away without a second thought" and thats really what most kind of did, didnt they?

On the macro scale, the prequels are such cautionary tales about institutions and governments succumbing to their own stagnation and then handing over the freedom their ancestors fought so hard for the illusion of security...starting to sound all a tad frustratingly familiar huh?
The shills don't want to acknowledge that. They rather give takes that fit their own views.

I swear to God, this is something I would see on a fucking comedy sketch
"Guys, we have a mole within our ranks!"

"Gasp! Who could do this?!"

Mole: Yeah, right?! Why dont we make sure to establish how much we trust each other by sharing vital information of the faction right now? For the sake of trust!

They literally ignore how the prequels were all about a free society giving all their freedom away as an easy solution for a problem created/worsened by a white old man that promises to fix everything...again, RIGGING ANY BELLS?!

The PT always had a cult of defenders and in the end they had the last laugh.
The sad thing is if the sequels didn't completely suck ass this never would have happened.

I've seen movies get hate in their time only to be reevaluated later (The Thing 1982) but the PT and Lucas by extension got so much hate it's fascinating seeing how people feel about it today in a post TLJ world.

I finally found the faggot who said "We want the authors of our texts to be dead and to have complete control over them". His name is Steven S. Vrooman.
SV.jpg
He drips soy.
Also, it's pretty funny that all the books that he has written are zombie-related:
Oh, he apparently did this presentation:
“Castrating the Oedpal Fanboy: Father Anxiety, Star Wars, and the Discursive Structures of Nerd Misogyny and Geek Capitalism.” Paper to be presented at SWTX PCA/ACA Convention, Albuquerque, NM, February, 2014.
Sounds revetting.
Not sure if a transcript or a video exists of this presentation.

Moses Ingram is a shit actress who was given shit material to work with (and honestly, I don't blame her for a lot of it, in fact, I kinda feel sorry for her just a little), but was put in a role just to deflect from the fact that Star Wars Obi-Wan is OBJECTIVELY fucking terrible as entertainment and is just there to fill the void until they can push out another shit movie without understanding anything (including the Expanded Universe) that came before it.

Disney is using Moses as a shield, and the fact that she can't see herself being used this way (John Boyega recognized it REAL fuckin' quick), should tell anyone with half a brain to avoid this disaster piece of a television show.

Yet another piece of evidence that the Empire is a cosmopolitan forward-thinking diverse society that makes effective use of the talents of the myriad species that live in it, like mole man, Graand Inquisitor, and this guy, while the Rebel Alliance is a regressive organization, stuck in the past and composed entirely of pale male stale males like Obi-Wan and Red Squadron.

One thing that continues to get me in the movies and television shows is we have all the book and video game and comic book and animated show and RPG material and prequel footage of Force Users being incredibly fast and athletic and jumping 50 gazillion feet in the blink of an eye yet everybody just walks around like a slug in these shows. Is it really more dramatic for people to....uh...walk around like Joe Blow?
Why was Darth Vader walking around like a slasher movie monster against a Force User as accomplished as Obi Wan Kenobi?
Why don't they ever act like this in the shows anymore? Is the best thing Obi Wan Kenobi going to do with the Force is...check my notes here...topple an awning on some people?

they have a few tokens like Admiral Fishlips, Lando's Fishlip buddy, and... Chewie?

Why was Darth Vader walking around like a slasher movie monster
because the Dark Side relies on fear and other negative emotions so channeling your inner Jason is basically godmode cheat codes
it's not a doublepost, it's a special edition

That'll do.
UPDATE: Added. I think you'll find the placement of Dave's section appropriate.
Can we also add information on Bob Iger into the OP as well. I think it’s important to understand Armageddon level damage he inflicted when he passive aggressively convinced George to sell Lucasfilm to Disney?

EDIT: @The Gangster Computer you should also add Filoni’s incoherent character changes like Anakin acting like Bruce Willis and Obi Wan acting Jack Sparrow.
