Jack here with a telltale sign that he's never truly had to go without. The cheap family meal is grabbing the last sale meat, bakery leftovers and the dollar frozen vegetables, not packing everyone into the minivan and having someone prep something for you at markup.

No idea. But Strokey is the last person to complain about having to stay at home and cook his own food when he goes out to eat most of the time. It's not like restaurants double or triple the price to make money to cover employee wages, utilites, and supplies or something like that. It's also not like there are differing qualities that guide clientele and appeal to certain audiences or something. If I want a burger, sure a chain place is great. If I want something more luxurious, I'd go to the nice restaurant and eat the costs since they have better trained staff and better ingredients usually.

There's an equally feasible chance that he's curious about ordering from it due to being fascinated by the technology behind it. I must admit I am too fascinated by things like that, when I first saw a Self-Checkout machine I felt like a child again, going on a small adventure to try out this new and exciting invention lol!
