E3 (but not really) 2022

All kidding aside, this could actually be where we see the results of MS hoovering up a bunch of studios to make exclusives for them.

If they can come out and show a solid 10-ish games that can't be got anywhere other than Xbox and/or PC Gamepass then their ecosystem becomes a hell of a lot more interesting.

So has there been anything good so far or has it just been the same derivative shit we've been seeing for the past few years?
Some games with potential, the most ones are fucking boring in their premise and some "mechanics" or "design choices" are a fucking meme.

No, that was fag shit. I like weeb shit and none of that was weeb shit. I would never waste my time or money playing the shit that was on offer today.

I pretty much hated weeb shit until i played the Yakuza series, Souls games and Persona 3/4/5 over the past couple of years and i realised that Japanese game devs are the ones who still make games for the sake of games rather than trying to wedge a "message" into everything.

It's given me a whole new appreciation for Nintendos first party stuff as well. It's bing-bing-wahoo and it doesn;t care who knows.

Western devs will still occasionally produce great games but it is getting rarer every year.

Is it weird that refuses to touch those games because of redditfags soying out 24/7 about Persona or Yakuza? Am I just too much of a stubborn cunt to play them because of their fanbase? Ill let people be the judge of that. but I used to be the same about Eurojank games, but a lot of them now tend to be really fun especially of the AA range, and with the USA, as long as the devs aren't in NYC or West Coast (which is getting smaller sadly) it has a higher chance of beting half decent.

I've never played Persona but Yakuza games are fun and super goofy/don't take themselves very seriously.

All video game fanbases are bad. Ignore them and enjoy the games for what they are.

Literally every third game on any given presentation had some elements of Stardew. Utterly pointless and derivative when Stardew already did it better than they ever will years ago.
And to think, I thought Stardew Valley was an absolutely abysmal game structured to be a total waste of time with the most contemptible characters imaginable. Everyone's some variety of hipster with colorful hair and there's even an interracial couple to remind me that this isn't Harvest Moon, this is Clown World.

So I guess this is the kind of garbage that comes from people who feel inspired by it, and that's just what E3 2022 was, and all I've got left to look forward to is next year when hopefully Yakuza 8 gets a release date

B in the H for these people.

>open UE5 settings

Yay, everybody can make their own Bright Memory "masterpiece".

A FUCKING HARASSMENT HOTLINE FOR GAMERS? AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
Not just some random online harassment hotline.... That's Anita Sarkeesian's organization.
The logo is similar to the one that ResetEra uses.

Waiting patiently for Microsoft to un-fuck not-E3 2022. They’re racing to make the most boring generation of video games yet.
I come from the future to tell you how it went
-Starfield has been delayed. As compensation everyone in fallout 76 gets 500 atoms (you must first send them your name, address, and ss# to be eligible for compensation)
-Skyrim will have a new special remastered version specifically for the steam deck. It costs $60.
-New fallout 76 DLC. The enclave is here now I guess. Time to shoot some nazis.
-No news on ES6
-Outer Worlds 2 trailer. The game is exactly the same but with new characters and a different story.
-grounded exists too I guess
-wasnt there some kind of fantasy game? Eh whatever
-halo infinite dlc. $40. Adds a new area for 2 hours of content. Also special new microtransactions for the multiplayer

Hope you're looking forward to it like I did.

The state of current year gaming makes me genuinely happy timesplitters is dead.
I've been thinking about this a lot recently and if a TimeSplitters sequel or remake ever came out today, it would either be heavily censored, or retards would scream and shout over the female character designs. I dunno about you, but when I think of TimeSplitters I also think of sexy female characters, it's almost like a staple of the series. Hell, imagine if this character came out in current year...

I'm even worried about TS Rewind, if that's still even being worked on.
