Wouldn't put it past Phil. I doubt he started taking care of himself because he cares.
He's either bothered by Katherine's weight, he had some odd health scare, or he's lying which could also be an option.
I mean he's forty, a heavy drinker and lazy. The best of luck to the daft cunt if he thinks a small daily walk will fix at least twenty years of severe damage.

It always annoys me that he's so fucking lazy he can't be bothered to edit out the last 10 seconds of caveman squinting and silently wrestling with the impossible task of clicking a button to end the stream. I guess he tried to make a bit out of it here, hilarious. I've literally never seen it in any other YT video, he might actually be the laziest person on the site.

Also, where did Phil get this idea about nearsightedness only effecting vision at 1000ft.? I'm nearsighted and need mine even at a larger computer desk. Is it just an excuse, or does he really believe that? Does he think nearsighted people only need their glasses when driving and sniping? Its just another one of those pigheaded Phil things where he says objectively incorrect things so confidently while talking down to anyone who corrects him like they're an idiot.

Phil's new walking thing is just like when he tried to quit caffeine for health reasons. That didn't last long at all, and now he's up to at least 2 cups a day just to stay awake on stream. Good for him if he is actually walking regularly, but that will change as soon as the cold weather hits, or any other minor excuse he can invent to stop.

Fun fact: 99.9% of the videos uploaded to dspgaming starts and ends with him leaning to his laptop, looking to his side, click sound.

Edit: Where he uses facecam ofc. Camcord videos still starts and ends with a lean and click. You can hear it.

Generally, on a reptilian brain level, we want to breed up. We look for certain characteristics in potential partners. The long and short of it with these two is actually very simple: Phil is much taller than Kat.

There are many other reptilian brain things we look for in a partner. Primarily, women look for strength, men look for flexibility. In general height is a good rule of thumb for women. Specially if she's short, which Kat is, it gives them a lot of information quickly. I think Phil is way too atrophied for that, but a man of his size could carry a pre-chub Kat no problem.

That is quite possibly the one thing she found attractive. Aside from that, and much more important: It's a symbiotic relationship. Phil had Kat at "money", Kat had Phil at "cooking and cleaning" and neither needed nor cared to hear any more.

They do fulfill each other's needs in a way. Khet nukes hungrymans dilligently, I assume, because she sure as fuck isn't cooking, and Phil scams retards for money. Their relationship is a static object, entirely void of any growth or change. I doubt it's very comfortable for Phil, but as I once said as soon as he pulled the scam to elope: He was a god damn fool, or worse, to ever put a ring on it. Kat is not going anywhere until she's done taking his money. And free room and board really does make life much easier. So yes, she'll stick around.

Also, notice how Panda frequently showed off how flexible she was. That girl understood the dynamic between men and women effortlessly, or read up on it. In either case, FatKat is just such a tragic downgrade in just about every sense.

Absolutely. Phil is such a superficial dipshit he is 100% bothered by Kat looking like a parade float. He also tried to get her an exercise bike. He's said many times before he doesn't need the gym at all, he's almost skinny. So why now? To get some semblance of a trophy wife back. Of course, they're not gonna find common ground there. Kat's not into sex, Phil's not into sex, why should anyone look good or take frequent showers?

You might as well let go completely. Hell, it's not like Phil has cut back on his drinking or gachaing. In that sort of relationship, trying to criticize a partner's bad habits that annoy you or aren't productive for your common life together is gonna meet a lot of annoyed stonewalling. Why the fuck should I be less of a massive landwhale if you're not gonna quit the sweatyman gacha? I don't see why I should work out when you don't even shower. Sure, it'd be nice if I could be fucked to make an effort, but all my time is taken up, because you let me do all the cooking and cleaning. That sort of thing. And Phil, even though he's weak and absolutely whipped, is definitely the type of person to bring up these things constantly in tiny little passive aggressive bitch negs. Kat's probably thought of gunt slamming him from the top rope a couple times by now. Luckily for her, Phil was enough of a retard to give her a ring and never had the balls to just yeet her and look like an incel again.

We know Kat plays a shitload of Skyrim and we know she doesn't clean, because they're still taking bimonthly dump trips. So to me, that means she's very protective of her time and wants to have some hours to herself every day. Also, she's in that "I'll make an effort if YOU make an effort" phase of the relationship. Even when she was with Subaruman, he did all the cooking, but she at least could be around for hair tricks, capeshit films and kept her weight in line. Ironically with Phil, who makes a lot more money and presumably pays for room and board, she's putting in even less of an effort. She's not on streams, she doesn't do content, she only ever microwaves and she's not even keeping the house clean. All they do is one day out a day where she gets him to pay for tendies at a restaurant and that's it.

In case anyone still had doubts, yes, Phil is ABSOLUTELY getting played like a fiddle by FatKat. The relationship will last until she wants, and if she's stopped working, hoo boy, she basically has a right to alimony for at least five years that no judge is gonna dispute. She can allege being a housewife and good luck to Phil disproving that. At least that's how it'd go in Europe, I'm not quite familiar with Burgerland law.

Maybe. Changing your name on Youtube is trivial. One of DarkDave's regulars is Cracker Jack, named after the Street Fighter character. Jaxx is a Street Fighter fan. Or maybe it's a LARPer troll, like the Karl army. I don't really keep up with the dents, they're pretty boring. His handle seems to still be Jaxx Raxor on most things, including Steam and Twitter.

Kat getting fat is literally the best possible scenario for Phil. There's no risk of her going out and meeting other dudes in social circles like Panda, so she can just stay home and take care of him and be kept around with doordash and Skyrim. Her physical appearance only mattered at the beginning so he could show her off on a couple streams and "own the trolls" with his manfaced bride. I'm pretty sure Phil is asexual for one reason or another, and if not I don't think he would be above fucking a fat woman. Plenty of narcissists of both genders do this sort of thing to keep partners locked down, facilitate them getting fat or fucked up in some way to keep them from feeling confident enough to leave, usually so they can get away with cheating but Phil just wants to chill and tell his dents about how great family life is.

Someone asked about the Thank You video and Phil said that he has needed some help lately 'for various reasons' and people have rallied and he wanted to say he appreciated it.
The example given of the bullshit, poorly defined 'various reasons'?
Phil mentions last month, when his YT payment 'was delayed' by several days and he needed money to get by and people stepped up.

1. The YT payment being delayed by 'several days' was all of 2 days (a weekend) and he got paid on Monday. Phil did not mention getting paid at the time because he speculated he would not get paid until Wednesday and didn't want to admit that he had the money. Worth noting here is that he avoided mentioning it until it was far enough away that he could safely use semantics to make it sound worse than it was.
2. There's still no explanation as to why he needed several hundred dollars in cash to cover him over two days when he wasn't leaving the house until his payment came on Monday. Especially when YT money is supposed to cover all the bills which were not due on the weekend.

Nice to see him squeeze out a classic, simple, but painfully obvious lie. Our boy still has it.
