Yep. Our legal system is ridiculously lenient towards sex offenders and mentally ill criminals. Hell, the Sex Offender Registry isn't even public here. Short of legal obligations to inform neighbors when SO's move in, your neighbor could be a convicted rapist or pedophile and you'd never know.

im gonna try and avoid this and just knock her up even if it means breaching a peace bond

Tbh the concept of a "sex offender registry" is very American and kinda stupid. If you think someone shouldn't go near a school, why let him out of jail to begin with?

I genuinely don't know how he's able to get away with that shit. I've seen mentally ill people do far less and end up in jail for a decent amount of time.
I also believe they can make a requirement for the person to take their meds depending on the state they're in. I'm surprised Alex isn't 1 of those people.
Maybe his parents did actually get him a good lawyer.

I had to call my lawyer Marie Heinen and try to convince her not to charge or sue K8 for k8's stupidity in posting confidential lawyer e-mails to twitter.

Now she's succeeded in starting a lynch mob calling me a rapist when I'm not. I'm expected to press criminal charges against her. That means you get police interviewed as well if I press a charge because you're on this website and I'm definitely gonna include you in my statement.
