Man I miss the good days of this thread... feel like between the 2000 - 4500 pages area was the sweet Golden Age period when the most harmful thing going was Coco being Coco. Yeah there was shit times now and again, but it was comfy, there wasn't as many people we have today and we really was just left alone in the corner of this forum.

Now days, I notice the old regulars lurk more (myself included) and there so much shit going on it hard to keep up (Used to wake up on average to like 3-5 pages, now it like 7-10 in the same span) and drive by nigs are up on the rise as of late. Not really complaining though, I do enjoy the new genuine faces around here that stick around, in this hell hole and post refreshing stuff to read like sharing their 2view chuba or spreading more hag love. oh well.

My issue wasn't because of her voice. I'm happy enough to listen to it with an uninteresting voice, hell, I've listened to Kronii streams lol It's more just her points were just getting too much.

It's certain points like her saying how she was sitting in front of the laptop telling herself she needed to be the one to talk to him but how she couldn't because of their fight but only SHE could get through to him...but then being willing to publicly shit on him on Twitter. It's just so... martyr-ish. Too much of it is just moving blame, doing the whole "I'm not even that big" or "I was scared for my life" neither of which I accept.

Zatsus are where you learn if you actually like to watch a streamer vs. watching their content. Or both. I consider tangents to be Zatsus so: Beatani any stream but Yakuza is great, Pippa is Zatsu streamer masquerading as a gamer, Ayamy has cooking steams which is just an excuse to chat.

Subaru has eng. tranlations of her talks, and most Asa programs are really just topic Zatsus so clips of those are fun.

Botan being included in an idol unit is a weird choice since she's one of the few Holo talents that can't sing or dance

Her performance during 3rd fes was all-around one of the better ones that day in my opinion, and not because I found the others lackluster at all. Which is fucking crazy if you listened to her very first Karaoke stream. And her stage presence is a lot more like Suisei than others more Idol-like dancing and moving around. By which I mean Suisei really holds herself more like a traditional singer with some added flair. (Not that Botan doesn't do both, like in the video you mentioned and whenever she does collabs)

The last Hololive festival showcased the range of singers: Suisei is Celine Dion standing and letting her voice work, Moona is Shakira runway walking with attitude, Kiara is Kpop level dedicated to dance, Sora and Azki are traditional idols, Nene and Subaru are energy idols. Anyways, the main takeaway is that Hololive will idol unit anyone and it usually works cause they have distinct styles. Botan will be the inverse of Aqua in Negi-U so I am intrigued.

Selen is a treasure to listen to: toxic but always laughing so it's funny, changes her mind like whiplash (I won't spoiler something and then 1 sec later spoilering cause fuck it), very little dead air or transition/stall words like "um", and the ability to milk stories for time or tell them again and again without seeming repetitive.

Haven't seen this reported here yet, new cyberbully law was passed in Japan. I picked the ABC source as it had a photo of Hana Kimura's mom who is decidely not traditionally Japanese looking and has been western levels of vocal after her suicide in 2020.

Quick synopsis, Hana was a pro wrestler who went of the popular show Terrance House, which is a cross between Real World and Love Boat and has scripted scenes, and a male roommate washed her custom wrestling outfit, by accident, shrinking it and she was obviously upset. This is the scene where she confronts him, rumored that she was asked to hit the roommate but refused and instead did the cap thing. She got a lot of hate from this online but the Terrance House producers were spared criticism for their direction, obviously looking to play up Hana as a Japanese outlier.

This might be an interesting law as Chigusa is suing an anti, Scuttle or River Bear prob archived this, and there is plenty of online bullies in the vtuber sphere. Note, two of Hana's anti's were fined 9000 yen for being bullies and one got hit with a larger charge of defamation and had to pay $12k. The new law might put people like them in jail as well.

It's also interesting because I don't believe Yuzuki Roa has actually taken legal action against Narukami yet, as they've only just been able to get Google to kneel and hand over his info. Obviously, if the case against him had already started, this new law wouldn't come into affect. If she is yet to sue, he'd be beholden to these new laws.

Pretty sure at this current point in time Kronii identifies as 100% female she's just a lesbian. The only thing pointing towards her having been non-binary was in regards to her VA profile and that can somewhat be argued as her doing it for role variety since she did VOs for anything ranging from loli characters, onee-sans, and shotas. So some of the talent's pages on the hololive site are now missing information that they had previously; compare an archive of Calli's page from a month or so ago to what it looks like right now. This only appears to be happening to EN and ID talent's pages, and the amount of missing sections differs between talents. Calli's and the entirety of Council's pages are missing everything beyond their character descriptions, while Kiara's page, for example, still has a Data section but lacks the Music section. Quite strange.
