Because of the "10 Years of Kamala" plan, which requires Biden staying for two years and one day to max out her run as President.

Also, resigning would mean admitting they fucked up and even if they manufacture a medical excuse, Biden's legacy is fucked.

The 'tell' in that article for me was that Democrat leadership continues to live in denial and plug their ears while their lower-ranking colleagues are screaming for them to wake up and do something, anything. But that's a pretty good takeaway too.

The bulk of the rank and file Democrats are from safe seats and all they care about is preserving their own fiefdoms. Those in competitive seats or DINOs can die as far as they are concerned. Also a lot of Democrats are drunk on their own supply, so to speak and think the Democrats won't lose at all and that they can just refuse to seat the incoming GOP majority if they can't just steal the election. Or just murder people outright to keep their majority and get away with it, because who's going to stop them???

We should have been raising rates 10 years ago. Instead they tried to keep the party going and kicked the can down the road. Trump was just as guilty as everyone else in this. Now the party is over, the tab is due and everyone is running out of the bar. And as usual the middle class is going to get stuck paying it.

From what's been leaked, the new boss not only has killed the overused "breaking news" declaration that CNN used to report ANYTHING that made Trump look bad but also BANNED one of the DNC's favorite bits of agitprop: "The Big Lie"; a term used to discredit and demonize ANYONE who calls bullshit on the 2020 election being "fair" and even IMPLIES that it was stolen from Trump.

Also Stetlzer, one of the chief TDS sufferers, is supposedly about to be fired due to garbage ratings and rumors that he's been stirring up shit against the new boss internally and leaking the above to DNC loyalists in other news outlets to try and manufacture controversy to try and force the new boss and Discovery to keep the pro-DNC/Biden and anti-Trump/GOP status quo.

That's really the only thing he can do to get instant results. If he reopened keystone and gave more permits out, we wouldn't see the effects until at least a year from now. And that's assuming everyone jumps in ASAP. Which OPEC and the gas industry aren't interested in.

My wife is finally waking up to how serious the situation here in the US right now after she heard that the gov't is going to set prices for gas, and she's thinking we should move to her home in South Korea for a few years. I don't think it's that bad of an idea since I could make more money there than I can in the states (and that's saying something when you see how bad the Korean Won is ATM).

Edit: SK has a populist president now, and she loved Trump's populist policies so she's hoping that Korea will see a economic resurgence. That, and TBH the healthcare system there is faster and cheaper.
