Zack is supposed to be 16 during the events of Crisis Core. They're the same age. I'm not sure how it meets the Pedo Convention standards.

I didn't mind it being action based since it's a spinoff, but now the whole series is nothing but action games which sucks. The ending is really good, I think it's worth playing just for that tbh.

Square Enix is very niggardly with sales and tend to never drop their Japanese games below 50% off. Even DQ11 never drops below 35%

The only thing good about Crisis Core is the ending, not even kidding it's pretty perfect blend of gameplay and story.

Maybe for the combat but definitely not for the story. They really Kingdom Hearts the fuck of this reboot and ruined a lot of the realism of the OG game for foreshadowing mystic bullshit.

I'll probably pick it up eventually when it's not over 50 dollars just to run around and explore because the environments are very pretty to look at. Gameplay looks fun.
But I am lazy and impatient and already watched a whole playthrough when it came out.

It all really depends on whether you can stomach the antics of Nomura and Nojima.
I don’t have too much experience with Kingdom Hearts-esque storytelling, and am more than open to seeing new interpretations, so I didn’t mind it. But I can’t say that I don’t understand why many are concerned with how it will all play out.

I am of the opinion that Nomura strictly needs to stick to character design, I really love the stuff he comes up, especially monsters.

I ended up getting it for $39. Still less than $40, it has to be at least worth that much. If I don't like it, I just won't get the other two and will probably replay the original.

90 times bigger than the original game with a third of the story told and less than half the quality. At the same price.
