I've never seen this in this format for anybody else. "YOU stand over here. YOU say exactly this to exactly this person at this exact time. YOU please try to not shit your pants again, WE would appreciate it. YOU exit the room this way because YOU need explanations that basic because YOU are a toddler in a business suit."

Reagan distilled his speeches into 3x5 cards:

I assume he had an actor's sense of where to stand, when to sit down and stand up again, etc.

I'm not going to speak about CA law specifically, but diversion is typically not available if the other person is injured, and it looks like he was charged with a DUI causing injury.

Can't the prosecutor drop the DUI w/injury charge prior to accepting the PTD application? Assuming the prosecutor wants this to go away and advance in California politics.

The prosecution can always drop charges. But there's a lot of media attention here, and dropping or amending the charges down is going to be scrutinized and compared to how the office typically treats such cases, so it will be obvious if the fix is in to the point that it may be politically untenable. A lot of corruption relies on acting in relative secrecy, and this would have to be done in full view of the public.

They were this close to being able to federalize elections and make their cheating permanent. That more than anything must chap their asses.

Nobody, at this point nobody. The only unifying person in it was Ron Klain and while he is officially still in, he is going to be out by years end.

Assuming it was the one linked earlier... its actually a net positive. It does absolutely jack and shit to actually control guns, defines a bunch of terms the ATF were using to get whoever they wanted, and actually provides for mental health.

Assuming nothing got snuck in that is.

But assuming that, its hilariously misnamed as an anti-gun bill.

Federal red flags? That'll be ripe for abuse, you know they'll use this to go after wrongthinkers. Best case scenario is that it leads to a court case striking red flag laws down for the unconstitional nightmare they are.

Part of my job involves talking to people who have been through traumatic experiences. In some cases, they've lost everything. Imagine how you would try to begin that conversation. What can you say in the face of the unimaginable? A lot of people I worked with, hell, I locked up. Just couldn't think of anything to say. It helped to have a template that you could at least draw inspiration from, questions that had worked in the past and was a lot more sympathetic than blurting out "damn, your shit got fucked" or something like that.
Didn't Biden recently do something just like that? "Hey sorry your dad croaked" or what was it. Everyone just kind of passed over it because it's another day in paradise but it really stuck with me that he can't even remember how to feign sympathy.

The bill that was showed by one of the Republican senators actually had all enforcement of the red flag laws stripped out. Just offering money to make some. So it will do exactly nothing. Now, they could have added it back in since but assuming that one is the one they settled on its all a big ball of virtue signalling without any enforcement and the added bonus of low-key fucking over the ATF.

Nicotine by itself, is not a carcinogen. It is certainly addictive, and works well as a pesticide, but both of those statements are also true of caffeine. The difference being, you don't light ground coffee on fire to get a caffeine fix. For the same reason, things like nicotine patches, gums, lozenges, as well as vaping, do not lead to the development of cancers. Studies that showed e-cigarette use as releasing carcinogens used e-cigarettes which were set to maximum power output and then ran for 30 second durations until wicks were completely dried, which is nothing at all like how an e-cigarette would be used to begin with.
I was going to say I was surprised no one's made a Tabaco tea style drink. But then I remember that Nicotine is toxic as shit, and am reminded of an old, probably bullshit, edgy text document from the 90s that suggested distilling Nicotine from cigarettes and using the resultant liquid to either enjoy a rather dangerous high, or [redacted]

Not necessarily. What it does is sets precedent that States cannot infringe on a law abiding citizens Second Amendment right to carry by introducing vague, arbitrary rules like "demonstrating a need" for self defense. I will say it was a clever attempt by the legislature of NY to shaft people applying to carry. How the fuck do you prove something like that? And then it's left up to the discretion of a legislature that has proven itself to be anti-gun.
The mere existence of the NY government is demonstration of need for self-defense.
Another day, another new low in libs' contempt for the commoner.

"Many people did well financially the last two years."

Yeah, people who work in pharmaceutical companies, you dumb black bitch. Ooohhh, I want to slap this bitch upside the head.

"Stop complaining"

Nigger, you people complain about not getting enough ketchup packets. Then after complaining, you shoot the wagie in the face. If you can do that, I can complain about the standards of living 90% of us have to endure.

Fuck you.
Despite the January 6th media circus, more Americans would vote for Trump than Biden if the election was held today. https://news.yahoo.com/poll-biden-d...-say-they-would-vote-for-trump-090021657.html

Good to see that people aren't buying this bullshit.
Fell asleep drunk watching YouTube videos about Italian cinema, and woke up 5 hrs later to the 1/6 hearings. They're really trying to push this shit hard. They're so fucking desperate to make 1/6 into 9/11.

Supreme Court releases more cases at 9am.
Gimme rainbows all y'all want, I don't give a shit. I wanna see that double whammy. Good God, please, let the actual Dobbs opinion release today. The salt/cope from the left suffering 2 massive Ls so close to each other would be enough to make my weekend - hell, maybe even my whole year up to this point.

If they actually act on their promise to riot in DC, I'm going to the liquor store to stock up to enjoy the livestreams. Sadly, the black male demographic probably won't show to torch anything. But the screaming black and white females might be a hoot.

I don't think its Rainbows, between a wannabe gunman and the court leaks, I don't see how the SC could not give the dems another L at this point. Their hands are pretty well tied in so far as "We can't show a position change after intimidation". It certainly helps that all they need to rationalize is not being pants on head retarded over what is in the constitution, an activity they have already endorsed with this opinion.

House is voting on that gun bill today that passed the senate yesterday

Schumer gives his two cents in
"This is not a cure all for all the ways gun violence affects our nation, but it is a long overdue step in the right direction. Passing this gun safety bill is truly significant and it's going to save lives,” said Sen. Chuck Schumer.
They are hoping Biden signs it into law this weekend if it passes

Doesn't matter, the red flag law will face SCOTUS and they'll use the ruling they made yesterday to shut that shit down.
