I keep seeing white liberals on twitter comparing abortion to interracial marriage because Clarence Thomas has a white wife. According to them this sets the precedent for us to ban interracial marriages. What kind of retarded logic is that? How is that even comparable?

Well, his reasoning in his separate concurrence specifically calls out three previous cases dealing with contraception, same sex relations, and same sex marriages. Implication being they were decided incorrectly, like Roe, so they could be overturned and by that logic so could Loving(case that "legalized interracial marriage").

I haven't decided if it's better if Thomas is trolling them or if he actually believes it and thinks it should happen. Which ever is better is the one I'll go with.
