Yes, they’re just contorting themselves into more ridiculous arguments as they attempt to defend themselves against normies noticing stuff.
The original non-transmed arguments were that believing yourself or declaring yourself a woman MADE you a woman due to some sort of spiritual transubstantiation, even if you still had a beard and had never taken estrogen. It was based on gender, which was a separate spiritual sense of self entirely different from sex.
Then TERFs and normies started saying “well, I believe in sex then. It’s more important than gender.”
Now the TRAs are grasping. No no no actually gender and sex ARE the same thing. Actually we ARE biologically women and we ARE female and you must let us undress in front of young girls in changing rooms because we are physically female due to uh, estrogen working on the DNA and changing us to a female phenotype!
Of course, even if you accept this new argument (big if), that means:
1. A transwoman is not really a woman until he has taken enough estrogen and changed enough that he has a somewhat convincing feminine appearance (ie, back to transmedicalism)
2. Formerly, the distinction between cis and trans was ultimately spiritual (although they did not call it that) and based on knowledge of one’s gendered soul. But if it’s based on a kind of pseudo sex change instead, that means that cis people with hormonal disorders or other medical problems also experience a kind of sex change (remember, troons have defined “sex change” based on hormones and superficial secondary sexual characteristics).
Are these cis people with hormone disorders also trans? Have they also changed sex? Why not? If it’s because of some “gender” distinction, what the hell were you doing talking about biology and phenotype when it’s ultimately down to feelings after all?

Objectively, they have no single explanation. In fact, they don’t even have a theory or any justification for their views. All the works of "gender studies" contradict each other and express diverse but not generalizing thoughts.
From each troon or tumblr user I heard a different argument.
The last thing that amused me was: "Humans have different ways of determining sex (chromosomes, hormones ect), it is a social construct that sex must be determined by chromosomes. After all, sometimes this diversity of sex definitions contradicts each other. (example a woman with a hormonal disorder and high testosterone) Since hormones can be changed with pills, sex is a spectrum, and sex binary is a social construct."

One of my favorite things to do upon seeing posts with claims like these is to check the profiles of these so-called passing troons and see if they do indeed actually pass. So could it be? Could we have finally found a troon who actually passes to the "normal/unscrutinizing eye"?

I'm going to take this opportunity to drop a link to a book I've been reading:
Before Stonewall, edited by Vern L. Bullough.
This is a collection of biographies of gay rights figures who were active before Stonewall. Written by gay academics for a gay audience. One person featured in this book is Walter Breen, husband of Marion Zimmer Bradley, gay intellectual and serial pedophile. He wrote a book on pederastry titled "Greek Love." The author of his article is also the founder of a journal called Paidika, which is about... take a wild guess. Breen's "activities" are mentioned in a matter-of-fact way, as is the fact that he died in prison after being convicted of raping a boy. I don't suppose it occurred to Vern L. Bullough or anyone else involved in writing this book that Walter Breen was perhaps not the best person to hold out as an example of a gay rights pioneer.
Then read the guy's bio that comes after Breen. An equally psychotic character, whose "fascination" with young boys is also mentioned.
Then look up Harry Hay, Larry Kramer, Harvey Milk and Alfred Kinsey. The gay cause was massively whitewashed in the 90s, and I and many others thought that it was always just about Adam and Steve wanting a white picket fence and a backyard grill like everyone else. Queer theory, gay rights and boy love were like peas in a pod until the ACLU and United Nations told the gay movement to cut out the kid stuff if they wanted to partner with them and be recognized as a human rights cause, but if you check out gay mens' conversations anytime they aren't in the media spotlight or they've had a few beers, they confirm what everyone's suspected.
I suspect one reason gay men have basically abandoned lesbians to tranny predation is that pushing anything-goes queer theory will get them to the destination they want to reach, and this time they don't have to be the ones leading the charge. They can let a bunch of pink-haired anime fetishists in programmer socks stand in front and soak up all the bad P.R. while schoolteachers are convincing kids to ditch their parents and find a glitter family. In the past, lesbians may have had a better position because they were on the same side as the mainstream advocacy organizations who wanted the pedo stuff out of the movement, but now that gay men have all the legal protections they want and the movement has shifted to focus on trans above all else, the political equation has changed.
