I agree with their intolerance in an abstract philosophical sense, I just recognize that it is they who need to be silenced, it is they who need to be removed from discourse, it is they who need to be stopped. Unfortunately I am a voice in the dark and I do not think enough people will wake up in time. To the extent the left has already consolidated power in the military and federal law enforcement, it is probably already beyond the point of no return.

I can't agree with this. The first amendment is absolute and silencing them would never be possible under our system of governent. You just have to stop taking them seriously. In 10 years people will look at them like weird cultists.

I don't think the progressive and other parts of the far left have consolidated much of anything, not at least more than the religious right/moral majority did back in the day. You see now what their antics are doing to the DNC, and sooner or later they'll have to be sloughed off like the dead weight they are. When that happens, all of their "consolidated power" will start to fall apart as, well, it happened back in the day with the right-wing version. The real danger I think is what the people who actually are at the helm will find next to justify their authoritarian bullshit. It's no secret that the same people today supporting this nonsense supported the right's own version previously, and they'll want to find the next group of assholes to prop up after these jolly jackasses lose their popularity to the extent of no longer being viable.

I could see tens if not hundreds of thousands opting for Sterilization when Roe is overturned and Abortion is outlawed in several states, and the number will only be increasing when bans on Contraception come.
They are literally denying themselves the ability to create more voters, this coupled with Anti-troon and fag laws stopping emigration and even causing flight from red states is a massive victory for Republicans.
Remember, Birth rates for White Conservatives are higher than that of White Liberals and mass Voluntary sterilization is not going to help that.

Anyway with these birth rates, without or with abortion, white liberals should trouble us for much longer. It's a evolutionary dead end.

Honestly what will happen is you will see liberals probably freak out with the spiteful mutant's dying off. Meanwhile you'll see the more NPR sweater wearing liberal start turning into the new conservative whose just moved away from stuff sweaters and problem glasses and faux bugmen smiles.

The bright side is 20/25 years down the line you'll see higher crime and more violence but you will also see a society that has higher birth rates and more stable families as the economic situation stabilizes and culturally speaking people settle down and start building families.

I am speaking in a much broader sense, and am actually contemplating a post democratic society when this all comes down, or if we were so lucky if someone intervened before hand to save us from what will happen if those opposed to the Left continue to do nothing. Have you read Heinlein's Starship Troopers?
Also, regarding the Frist Amendment, neither it nor John Stuart Mill contemplated mass media, or mass media being concentrated into maybe three gigantic conglomerates. Mill, the founders and our Anglo-British heritage also did not think about the phenomena of manufacturing consent, how the individual's choice is profoundly predetermined by the cultural miliue he finds himself in.
