For Phil, what even is the value of money when you can just ask for it and get it.

yes on his day off he doordashed scrambled eggs with bacon, then went to mcdonalds, because the breakfast sucked and in the evening he ordered from the fancy sushi place. my guess is he spend around 150-200 just for food for him and his fat horse.

Considering that dsp is essentially funded, by 3-4 people(?), what would happen if one of those stops. do you guys think he has any plan for such case?

Maybe that's why hes suddenly starting with his subtle "go to a con and maybe see if I'm still relevant" hes trying to garner new whales since lets be real here, economy wise things are going to shit (shocker i know) and whales no matter how much money they have, when you have to spend double for things like groceries and such, you start to think a little more carefully where do you want your money to go. I think dsp income will start to take a hit in the coming months. Of course this is just a nudnik with a mentally ill take. Cheers.

I have no problem with people unused to early game difficulty abusing save states, especially if they only are playing things for the first time and just want to get to the end.

The problem is Phil proclaims to be a lifelong gamer yet plays everything like he only found out about Nintendo last week and it makes him incredibly disingenuous.

He has no contingency and if he was a convention guest it would go incredibly poorly; first, nobody would want to book him and he'd have to show up as a normal attendee. Chris-chan did the same thing a few years back at Too Many Games (I was there, it was surreal) and somehow garnered a small crowd of onlookers. Phil would not have that except for people wanting to make fun of him and call him out on his bullshit. It would be his worst nightmare.

This is why I wish Phil the worst and don't buy the "just point and laugh" mindset. The fact that he got away with this is only due to the fact that he is a nobody and people don't even bother with him. If someone like Asmongold behaved like this during a stream, there would be an outrage. He would get banned. But Phil? No way, man. He grew amd matured. He was just a dumb 30-something year old kid when he said that.

I know he replayed games before and I know he underatands grinding, but this mongoloid never replayed any of the games he showed on stream like in his spare time. In his mind, if you enjoy a game enough to want to master it, you're a no life loser fucking idiot. That is, of course unless the game is SF2 or WWE CCHAMPIOOOONS

I think that it's very fitting that the Level 1 Podcast died and had to restart on its first episode.

One of the most entertaining things about DSP I find is his ego and pride vs money, it's like a war in his head on who will prevail because he's done a lot of sell out shit for money and sometimes he would rather worry about his ego than money. It's so perplexing and interesting. The retitling his "podcast" to the level 1 podcast is peak ego. He has to get back at ANYONE who crosses him. I swear, he must have a list full of people who even slightly messed with him.

The thing about it is that deep down, on some level, he must be just incredibly insecure, sad and bitter towards the world. That is why he behaves the way he does. He has to always be the realest more awesomest guy, or ar least he has to have the world believe it.

Yes, Phil has slowly but noticeably gained weight since the marriage. Not so gradual for the wife, though.
