If you mean the Castrum I found it to be not all that bad, it was mostly just getting people to sign up to fight the boss more than anything else. Though once it wasn't current content getting anyone to do it was like pulling teeth until they buffed rewards.

I don't personally enjoy the humour, I gave it a fair shake and read/watched all of ARR Hildibrand, it's really just not for me. There are other things I like to do with my life than sit on FF all day, hence why this has been a slow on going task, I am very casual, it is a long quest chain, I am doing slowly to unlock all the stuff like trials, minions, emotes, glam, etc.

I'm not getting ass blasted over it, it's just content I don't particularly enjoy, and I do understand why some people would be frustrated by the choice that the new relics are locked behind it. Not saying they are justified in having a tantrum over it though.

Specially when it's LB can do multiple shenanigans, but got too many smooth brains begging for a nerf or giving the job a lobotomy and that wish got granted.

Also AST is getting the lobotomy coming next patch as well, so many of those mains are gonna be hit with some hardcore feels or hardcore autistic spreging.

You pretty much answered your own question there. My first and only Dalriada run was a shitshow and CLL and DR were tedious while with the first two expansions I didn't have to rely on other people to do this content. And yes I know this is an MMO but I can wrangle 4-8 friends to do other content and not 20+ friends.

Yeah that sounds like something autistic I'd say about this plot because I read way too much into this weeb ass MMO. I think I was more alluding to how Ryne and Gaia have at some point had identity issues and they both try to forge their own self through their experiences, Ryne is kind of done with that development and is now trying to be normal after playing oracle for her entire life, but Gaia has her own identity crisis so Ryne naturally wants to help her as she understand what she's going through to some extent. This then in turn leads to Ryne and Gaia being typical teenage friends, which given how extraordinary their lives have been, is actually not that mundane to them despite it being mundane to us. In a way Eden's entire thing is returning a bizarre world to some sense of normalcy, both the world itself and the two primary characters in Ryne and Gaia.

Eden I'd say overall is about a couple of things and introduces a few concepts. It talks about memories in some degree of detail, Bozja also does this though it is more on a metaphysical level, which is somewhat relevant to a few things in Endwalker later. It is about sort of trying to analyze what makes a person who they are, as Gaia is effectively a blank slate at the start who's getting pulled in a handful of directions and she chooses to instead just not give a fuck at all because thinking about this stuff is mind wrecking, it isn't that deep at all but it exists. It is like a really light (for this kind of story) story about someone having an identity crisis while in a way just being born into the world, as I've seen amnesia play out before, and it is absolutely terrifying to just have no idea who you are and you're just dropped into a life you don't feel is really yours. So while Gaia is a colossal bitch, especially at the start, I feel for her on some level because amnesia is confusing as fuck and media tends to downplay it through magical memory restoring plot devices.

What I like about the Eden raids is that the story is a small scale version of the ShB: Ascian!Gaia wants Mitron to help her remember her past no matter what while Present!Gaia wants to be able to live her life as is, it mirrors the Ascians goal in trying to bring back the glory of the old world versus the current ones.

It is kind of weird especially when we have many instances of interacting with Godbert without Hildibrand. I do wonder if he's required for the criterion dungeons because of a certain lore aspect.

Do you care about the lore and play Monk? There's a major lore bomb that was surprising to see in the joke questline: Sil'dih turning themselves into zombies was bullshit and it was actually Ul'dah who perpetrated the attack.If you prefer a more serious side quest, I do recommend the Scholasticate in HW once you finish Hildibrand.

Yes, but if the player base wasn't so fucking inept, lazy, and incapable of using their eyes this wouldn't be an issue. CLL/DR/DAL are not hard content at all, you can fuck up in so many ways and still win save for maybe Lyon at the end of CLL. Even with the retarded monkey brigade I'll take tedious retards fucking up DR over atma farming, books, or the ye old light farm when it was current where retards fucking up a1s blitzing and you wipe for about 10 minutes straight. I'll even take Eureka over that garbage.

CLL, DR, or DAL in even some of the most inept groups I got (I almost completed 3 relics, so I did it plenty) has nothing on the retardation that was Atma farming, ARR books, or the 6 HW crystals before they got super buffed and I ran around doing fates for about 20 hours after they buffed it once, at least I can have a little fun in CLL when I execute the fights. Fates are fucking boring, at least I'm awake in CLL.

99% of the Raid/Glam trannies bitching about it will just take 3 minutes out of their dilation schedule or ERP to skip through hildy and then buy the next overpriced mog station glam again

either that or just TexTool the weapons in for their patreon/twitterfag glam screenies

I don't know, I'm getting troll vibes from all of his DF screenshots and that lawyer copypasta comes across as not genuine at all. This might be a bait or a troll op for attention (albeit it's a super elaborate one if it is).

It's been going on for several months and he's spent money on numerous name changes and server/DC transfers.

It could be a troll post, but based on his actual behavior/performance and continued whining, I'm leaning towards him just being a real exceptional sped.

As the years go by, the line between trolling and flailing retard gets blurry.

On another note, I took a moment to look up the patch notes and looked at the job adjustments and couldn't help but laugh a bit. While the tank jobs aren't too far apart in terms of dps, drk and gnb are still a bit higher than war and pld. It didn't bother me, Pld has good utility and Warriors are self healing monsters. But I can't for the life of me see why they decided to give damage buffs to all of the tanks except for Paladin, then proceed to nerf Shelltron from 20% to 15%. I wonder if Pld mains will throw a fit?
