That's not all. It turns out the person that was running the account...is a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER!

Looking at Bix's twitter, he's definitely aware of this revelation, but has yet to correct his post. To be fair though with the amount of tweets, he probably forgot about what he said.

It's hilarious that he claims to be a journalist and I've seen him call out other journos in the past over not sourcing their info correctly etc.. yet his proof that Buff was running his own twitter was some shit that he remembered Road Dogg said years ago.

What a fucking joke.

Not for the last two decades or so. Rednecks left in the early 2000's for the UFC leaving troons and lib faggots to fill the void.
Dave Meltzer's old writings, particularly obituaries and the Montreal situation, are the still absolute gold standard for wrestling history. Dave recently using his show to platform a literal who pajeet doctor to push for more lockdowns, and a BLM faggot to talk about white privilege, has cost him a tonne of respect and subscribers. He was also trying to cozy up to SJWs by talking about how much better wrestling is without the old white men of the past, literally days before the same mob attacked him over his Peyton comments.

See, Meltzer is an autist who I think has had a lot of influence on how the IWC thinks (rating puroresu strong style over anything else, shitting on the western showman style, giving Hogan-Andre negative stars), but for his many, MANY faults, he is also an institution when it comes to information and references regarding the wrestling business. I think even the people who dislike Meltzer like myself can admit he has a Rain Man level capability of retaining information on wrestling, it's just I think a lot of his opinions suck and he often presents them as fact.

People like Bixenspan, SRS and the rest of the shitheels that compromise modern wrestling journalism do not have that redeeming quality. They know nothing about the business pre-Hogan (and would be lucky to know anything pre-Attitude Era honestly). They're not only shitty people with shitty opinions and shitty attitudes, they're entirely replaceable.

Yeah, with Dave you just learn to accept that he's weird about certain things. He doesn't try to hide his biases -- I don't think his brain is capable of it -- and he's not driven by the overweening need to chase clout like the Bixes of the world. He's just a dude whose autism takes the form of the most powerful obsession with pro wrestling ever known. And also roller derby. He may be more obsessed with the worked roller derby of the '60s and '70s than he is with wrestling, but there's no way to sell the Derby Observer Newsletter.

I was on the the F4W board at that time too and I remember rovert being banned when that was almost impossible to do. Someone on the board found his dox from an old tape trading site and rovert pleaded with the guy on DM not to release it. He's currently making threads about himself on the wrestling board on 4chan.

Bryan Alvarez has been trying to do as little work as possible before cashing out. He quit his newsletter and tried to install Mike Sempervive as the co-host for the Dave show. Semp was such a droning sperg that Dave made the call to get rid of him and bring Bryan back. Bryan surely knows that Dave is his meal ticket and doesn't have long left due to his advanced age. He's either hoping for AEW to kick off another lucrative boom period or have enough saved away to quit and move to Hawaii full-time.

That is funny I did not know that story about Rovert and his dox.

God I couldn't stand him; he had this really bizarre sense of humor; very Irish-centric if I remember right that nobody seemed to get besides people from his part of the world. I remember when he got banned people were beyond ecstatic; people were giving Bryan so much shit for not doing so earlier. There is no doubt Rovert's insanity cost them some members; I think he got let back in and toned it down. I just couldn't believe someone had that much time on his hands to post so many times a day and he would try to break stores. He would always have some repetitive comment too; its been a while but he was a total freak; everyone was trying to get his photo too. Probably similar to Bix; once everyone saw what he looked like it would all make sense.

As far as Dave goes; it is a weird thing to think that he is what 63 or so now? I can't see him doing this much longer... then again it is Dave Meltzer so he might write the observer until the day he passes and both his parents lived well into their 90s. I like a lot of what he says but god him and Garrett really need to get out of their "west coast bubble", it might just be me and my friends but I roll my eyes every time they claim its the NBA playoff for bad tv ratings, everyone I know who watches wrestling doesn't give a shit about basketball and everyone I know who watches basketball doesn't give a shit about wrestling; maybe they are right and it's just my own bubble but I don't know.
