Jaron Seth Bloshinsky / Jazz Jennings / I Am Jazz - Puberty Blockers: Not Even Once

He's 21. That's pretty young to get engaged.
Isn't he like 26 ? ETA: 24. Young, but still.
With him constantly bringing up his single status seemingly out of any context, it's terribly off-putting because it shows:

-he expects being in a relationship would transform every aspect of his life (otherwise, why bring up the single thing in different contexts for no reason). That sounds like a lot of work for a potential girlfriend. I know women can fall into the trap of over-giving to others, especially men, in ways big and small (given that we've been socialised to always put others first= being a lady), and especially in a relationship. But there are red flags to look out for to avoid a guy who won't return the favor/just wants a mommy bang maid. I just get the feeling that as The Girlfriend of Sander you'd find yourself organising and wrapping presents for Jeanette, financially supporting you both, picking up after him etc. There's a trend of shitty men wanting girlfriends who can both financially support them, on top of the role of emotional support and traditional housewife jobs, all without any commitment outside 'live in girlfriend'. He can't even prioritise wearing a shirt, is he really going to clean up after himself?

-he lives at home, when he has the financial means to easily live independently. It's immaturity- he's not ready to live on his own.

In short, he seems to want a girlfriend to fix his whole life and take over. He really is looking for someone like Jeanette, even subconsciously. I'm sure there is some Florida-based Jewish American Princess who will happily eat up this role, because you get what you deserve, Sander.

Proud of what exactly? Becoming a bloated, balding incel by the ripe old age of 24?

Jesus Christ on a bike are you right about that one. This is absolutely what this guy wants.

He sees not wearing a shirt as a personality trait, just like not having a dick makes his brother a woman.

Oh he'd be crying, alright.

He aged 20 years in 6 years! How can someone's face age so quickly?
Trauma.

Sander is really pushing CheckIn today, and looking very professional while doing so.

Does anyone actually want this product? I don't see a market demand, especially in a recession.

God. How disturbing must that be? To se your elder brother pretending to be you to compliment himself. That's not normal. That's terrifying.

I remember the episode, several years ago , when the twins were still attending UF and Griffen had a new girlfriend and was separating himself as an individual. Sander seemed all out of sorts about it. It seems like he never developed a personality or identity separate from his twin and this is the result.
He was so pathetic during that time. And Griffen ended up apologizing for excluding him, when in reality Sander was just acting like a giant brat because HE wanted a girlfriend.

I distinctly remember Jazz making a comment like they got with all the girls when they first joined their frat (something like “My brothers get with a lot of girls” when they were offering dating advice to Jazz), and now we learn that women have apparently been dodging Sander his whole life.

So Checkin is for lonely people who don't have a partner, friend, neighbor, or even family member to ask, "How was your day?" It there's a market for that, it's very sad, and yet I can easily believe there is...

I remember that episode, too, but I disagree that Sander wanted a girlfriend like Griffen's. He just didn't want Griffen to grow up and leave Sander.

When a men is so desperate for a girlfriend, what people understand is that he's desperate for sex.

And people understand exactly what it is.

What Sander wants it's not a girlfriend to walk around the park holding hands or to go out and watch movies. That's what Mentally Underdeveloped Eunuch with no Libido Jazz wants. Sander's a grown man.

There’s a super simple solution to Sander’s dating woes.

Just have Griffin get the girl in bed. Insist the lights be off.
Then pull that ol’ switcharoo with Sander.
Solid Chris wanted to do this with Liquid Chris and Kacey. It definitely would’ve worked and Sander should do it to get some neden.

Interestingly that's the plot of the film "El Castrado."

The castrated singer gets the ladies all worked up, then the "whole" brother steps in to finish the job.

Teamwork! It makes the dream work!
