The Gun Control Debate Thread - Controlling autism since 2022

Okay, cool. Parents are heroes, etc blah blah 21 people are still dead, 19 of them are children, all because a maniac had access to assault rifles. I guess getting called a hero is a nice consolation after your infant son or daughter was violently gunned.
Maybe 21 kills would've been less had the cops actually did their damn job. Except they decided to stand there and do fuckal while the parents begged them to save their kids. But no, they sat there and fucking watched and tazed the parents that dare take matters in their own hands. Those parents had more courage than the cops, that's why I called them "heroes".

Let me bring up a time when a good man with a gun saved lives. Let's go back to December 30th, 2019 to a church called West Freeway Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Texas. During a worship, a man pulled out a shotgun and began to fire at the congregation. One of the members of the congregation pulled out his handgun and shot the gunman, felling him instantly. The ordeal lasted 6 seconds with 3 deaths, including the shooter. Sure, people died but it would've been a lot more had their been no good man with a gun.

Let me bring up a time when a good man with a gun killed the suspect, 26 deaths after the fact.

His interview with Steven Crowder, the closet homo, is online.

Depressed teenagers generally don't have access to concentration camps and jetliners these days, dummy.
Doesn't matter. Your claim that gun control working AT ALL holds no weight. Do you think ANY of the countless gun homicides each year in the US (most of which are unsolved) that are gang related or robbery related were perpetrated by people who would've passed a background check? You're talking about CONVICTED FELONS here. Look at Chicago and all the murders that happen there, for instance. That city and state has some of the toughest gun laws that it's easier for a criminal to get a gun than somebody who needs one for protection. Just look at Mexico's murder rate and compare it to America's. Mexico has some of the toughest gun laws in the world and yet they still massively outmatch the US.

It sure works against those depressed teenagers though.

"President Donald Trump, on a tour of Asia, said the gunman was "a very deranged individual" and denied that guns were to blame for the shooting.
"We have a lot of mental health problems in our country, but this isn't a guns situation," he said." -from the same exact article

Say what you want about Donald Trump but he's right in this case. As been said before in this thread, the majority of shootings are majorly caused by mental health problems. If we, you know, tackle this problem then we wouldn't have this problem as it stands now. You and your MSM talking points on the other hand blame guns because y'all see the effect and not the cause of shootings. You never ask "Why?" because that's a dangerous question. Makes you think some things ain't right and that's bad in the eyes of the powers that be.

Brazil has some of the toughest gun laws in the world and they have a higher homicidal rate than Mexico, the US, and 17 other countries combined. This is proving the gun controllers folly but they won't admit to it. Because then the gun control movement will die if they admitted to the truth.

EDIT: found this video a while back, I think it belongs here no?

I still don't see the problem with a Glock. With situational awareness, and some common sense it would solve %98 of violent encounters.
Then why aren't you advocating for a ban on those as well since they're so effective? Imagine the damage somebody could do in public with one. Oh wait, you don't need to imagine.

Because they have like 10 gun deaths a year compared to America's 10.000?
Sure sounds like it's working to me.
It's not, though. Japan lack of gun crime is entirely due to two things:
1. Anti-Gun culture
2. Massive push from the Yakuza to Control all the crime.
3. Yakuza's, and by extension, the rest of the criminal world's distaste for easily tracable weapons (such as guns) as well as fears that the gun won't work at critical moment. Criminals in Japan use guns to send a message, but not for crime.

Tldr: It's a culture thing combined with the criminal world not wanting to be captured as well as being mostly controlled by Yakuza.

Edit: Something to note is that Japan has low crime in general compared to the rest of the world

But someone just got shot, so clearly Japan is full of gun crime therefore gun control doesn't work.
Wasn't that your argument?
