Ugh this argument always pisses me off when pro lifers use it.
Yes, the heart is the first organ to develop. But it is not as complex in later development and it isn't viable. It's electrical impulse in heart cells - that you can make beat in a cell culture.

The brain itself governs awareness and sentience. So you can be brain-dead with an active heartbeat because your brain stem is still working. You EXIST, but you're not alive. You have no sentience, no soul, no brain activity. You exist because electricity makes your heart beat, but even that can't stop decomposition.

When your spirit has moved on, when the synapses aren't lit up like a Christmas tree...you're dead. Nothing left.

Anoxic brain injury is absolutely discussed with the family and the kind Archie had rendered him unable to recover. Hollie just doesn't listen.

I love the "messages" instead of massages and apparently someone told her to use sensory toys for Archie? Yeah I'm sure a therapy made for autistic kids is going to be very helpful to a corpse.

Why don’t people who are this dumb but trying to seem smart not use speech to text? They have to be aware they can’t spell or even really Engrish well at all. Speech to text would be a massive improvement in many cases although I’m not sure what Hollie sounds like so maybe her accent is too thick for it to work well? Do accents even impact speech to text?

Just a thought

I don't know what Hollie sounds like, but I can confirm that accents impact speech-to-text and related technology.

Source: My late father was excited not to have to use his massive hands to dial mobiles until he discovered the tech was incompatible with his deep drawl. It was hilarious to watch/hear. 😂

yep there’s a very funny video somewhere with two scots blokes trying to operate a voice controlled lift.

I very much doubt Hollie has the nous to even realise there’s a text-speech function, let alone find it, enable it and use it.

She’ll have an essex accent won’t she? Wot with being from sarfend. So yes, text to speech may be a problem as there’s no difference between death and deaf in that accent, they sound exactly the same.

I cannot wait until this woman's lunacy disappears just like the other parents who waste hospital resources to keep blood flowing in a corpse's body just to justify their lack of education and delusions.
