What would you guys rate as the golden DSP era? I discovered him in 2019 and was just blown away to hear his Chris-Chan voice back then complaining about everything and hearing him endlessly shit talk YouTube and every inane shit. Nowadays I find him rather depressing with his boomer cluelessness but back then he still had some rage inside him.

Rate me optimistic but I still believe the best is yet to come. He used to be a pretty toxic and lame person, a greedy scum fuck, but now its hard for me to even call him a person.

He's absolutely insufferable in every facet of his existence, completely incapable in doing anything himself, he's genuinely a delusional narcissist and extremely impulsive. Throw this on top of his addictions, managing to blow any little issue out of proportion, and complete lack of self control, I think there's much milk to be drained from the beggar's moobs.

Within the last year he's devolved so much that it's a little hard to believe. He's spoiled beyond belief and is being conditioned to this effortless life. At some point, albeit slowly, the rug will be pulled and it will be a sight to behold. Also let's not forget, his midlife crisis, and his current mental health state are extremely entertaining.

He would need extreme chat handholding with picking each part especially when conflicts between said parts pop up. Also he seems to want good parts but wouldn't even use the PC to it's fullest potential. And he wouldn't even do PC gaming which offers way more variety then console games.

He's gonna get a 3070 and use its power to babysit Youtube uploads. Guy's scummier than a crypto miner.

Phil still provides a ton of idiocy every week, it's just 95% of it is in his grifting, begging, ranting about trolls, cosplaying as a human, etc. He's sucked most of the life out of his gameplay where that doesn't provide anything entertaining (in a real or ironic way) unless he starts off-topic ranting. Now and then he has a breakdown related to actually playing a game, but you have to sit through too much bullshit to wait for it.

But I think Phil as a shitty human being is probably at his peak---he thinks he's changed but only for the worse. But in 2022 he's the most entitled he's ever been, the most in denial about his failures, the most bitter if he doesn't get his "buy in", the most paranoid about people seeing through the scam, the most willing to berate the brain-damaged fools who support him. He thinks he works hard, he thinks he's blocked anyone who challenges him. He's the literal definition of the guy who thinks he's smart because he hangs around with a bunch of brain-damaged children. And he expects their money too.

Watched one of his videos yesterday playing stray, he was constantly going on about his pc. Annoying as fuck, why would someone care about that. The rest of his commentary was nothing about the game either, i forgot how crap DSP commentary is.

All he has to do is set his recording to 30 fps like all his other videos are and he has more problems, like anyone really gives a crap about 60 fps on a DSP stream to the point he has to buy a new PC lol

He's just begging for a pc as always, even the videos comment was on about it.

Post Leanna pre Kat was amazing. He was uploading super cringe selfies almost daily on IG and saying insane shit like laundry was giving him adrenaline and keeping him up all night. The Tekken 7 online salt was so good nowadays the only thing he will play online is Street Fighter games he has already played for 30 years. His streams were so much better when he didn't blatantly use guides and have stream chat tell him exactly what to do at every turn. He wanted to kill TIHYDP so much he got rid of all fun or trial and error his ego cannot handle making mistakes on stream so he is content with making the most boring content online for his small audience as long as they keep paying him.

I think im with you, im actually current phil a lot. The past rage videos and him being shitty at games were funny, but there is something so captivating about a fat narcissist trying to autistically control the narrative around him. Im a huge fan of "I had no idea guys! I accidently guessed the exact right thing the first time! Huhun!" and then bragging about how everyone said that boss was hard but actually it was easy for him (using guides, cheese, save states, etc)

I do find humor in that, but I would also like to see him suffer. It's a gray mixed bag and is what it is.

It really is weird how the detractor creators are basically incestuous with each other and don't want to cause drama among themselves. Honestly, I'm not much of a fan of most of them once they start talking. Steve, Brittany and Aqua are the only ones I can really tolerate but I guess shitting on everyone and actively doing it means I wouldn't fit in if I actually worked on it. Oh well. They basically are the new SoK in all but name but they have no true leader like Fred, which is for the best.

I agree, he's clearly regressing. Each stream the mask is fading away, more people are picking up on this. The slave and borderline pedo "jokes" caught a few people's attention I never saw in the detractor vortex trying to get youtube to pay attention. He's getting more attention from non DSP related reddits and tweets.

His inane rambling is getting less and less bearable and more and more insane or just literally stupid, he's have even more trouble keeping his story straight in one thought let alone sentence to sentence.

Agreed, the brief post Leanna breakup period was Vintage Phil, and it's why many of us can't wait for the inevitable Divorce Saga.

I also miss the days when Phil still cared about appearing like a great gamer, and then he started this "chill" nonsense. That was the final nail in making Phil unwatchable for me.

I'm going to go off my hinges and say fuck ebay, he's not wrong but then again so is everybody who doesn't want to be forced to have 12% taken off the sale and have to wait on that money for four days which he needs now, he really really does he needs that money.
