Most should have wrote it off as anything to take seriously when hackers gave everyone billions of dollars in 2013 tbqh.

There is fun to be had, but only when you're just fucking around IMO.

It's pretty bullshit. I was really surprised by just how fucking easy it was to make a million + an hour when I came back a month or so ago. And the idea that Rockstar took a whole two years to really put a stop to it is insane to me coming from the days where there were daily updates that only seemed to stop money making tactics.

I am kind of curious how much more my old method of rotating VIP/Terrorbyte work between Import/Export sales will increase with this update. I'm not thinking it will be that substantial but it could be enough to come close to Cayo Perico with the lowest possible take.
I played GTAO a lot when it first came out on the 360, I absolutely loved the racing and it was a ton of fun, but then they nerfed racing into the ground and then all the hacking and everything else that came with it became too much and I never played it again after that.

I just got done playing through Vice City. If it wasn't for the 80's theming and culture it wouldn't be quite as good. It's basically just a mod or more like an expansion for GTA3. It's the same framework as GTA3 but instead it's the 80's. I played it on my PC. No, I didn't buy the DE remasters. I played the original version. It's completely playable on PC with mods. You will need the Definitive Edition Project mod to play it. It installs a bunch of mods that make the game look and play better than the original PC version which lacks the PS2 "trails" which adds in the coloring and lighting effects. The radio with the music and talk shows helps boost the exaggerated 80's experience. The Definitive Edition mod does not make it look like a modern game.

Last time I played this game was 2002 or 2003 on my PS2. At the time I had one of the big PS2's and I got it just a few months after the launch. It suffered with the DRE issue which means Disc Read Error. It was an issue with early model PS2's. It was one of the few games I could play on it. I believe the DRE issue would affect certain PS2 games differently depending on what kind of disc it was. If it was the blue bottom mine would play it fine. But if it was the silver DVD's it wouldn't play that well. But Vice City played fine so I spent a lot of time playing it till I could get a new PS2.

I still think it's one of the best GTA games. Though the game mechanics haven't aged well in some cases.

RDR1 and RDR2 were such good games. I got to get back into RDR2 and finish up my PC play through. I got so many games I haven' t played much of lately.

I tried Bully a few years back and didn't care for it much. I tried playing it again a year or so ago and got a little farther into it. It's still not one of my favorite Rockstar games.

Another one saying the nerf is a good thing.

Cayo Perico is so boring though I couldn't bring myself play the heist more than 3 times let alone constantly grind it out like some lunatics do. I think this nerf is good since maybe some of these people will finally decide to play a different game for once.

I don't care for GTAO and basically refuse to play it. When I did I would run around and get all the money dropped by hackers. I ended up with several million dollars in GTA money. I really hate GTAO though. The thing that pissed me off about it the most is Rockstar never made any GTA5 story DLC and all the stuff we got in the past GTA games got put in GTAO. You have to spend your time grinding to get the Hunter or Harrier in GTAO. You could always buy shark cards, but I refused to do that. So you end up with GTA5 and all the fun shit locked away behind insane grinds or paywalls. Fuck you Rockstar.

I spent all of Trevor's money pimping out his shitbox jeep. How do I get it back?

The stonks are one step forward and two steps back. Gains from armored car stickups are wiped out from getting killed. Gun runs are too paltry.

Businesses?
Missions?

Do a heist mission, then do an assassination payphone mission if you haven't already.

Apparently the "daily" free deliveries they talked about adding to Executives/Gunrunners pays out 50k, has no global signal and is available once every in game day (48 minutes) and not real world day. Maybe I was being retarded assuming it would be in game day.

They completely removed advanced handling flags from cars, possibly just Tuner though. I don't believe it was ever talked about in this thread much but advanced handling flags was a huge fucking deal to racers before I took my break two years ago so this is a big deal for them.

Edit: Oh, and for some reason I had a GTA IV update happen on Steam today. Don't know if that's weird or normal since I just re-installed it recently but yeah.

According to Reddit, R* nerfed payphone hits and security contracts.
Nerfed or set them back to their original payouts?

The 170k payouts for hits the past week or two was part of an event IIRC

Edit: Ahh just saw it went from 80k to 50k.

wait, for real?
That's what GTAForums regulars are saying, at least. I'm not enough of a hardcore racer or dataminer to tell based off the hour I played.

GTA Forums bitching and moaning that I'm enjoying currently

- 2/3rds of the vehicles are dripfeed, which I feel is normal at this point but GTAforums is up in arms because there's only like 4 new vehicles to buy right now and none of the ones featured in the trailer are available.
- Oppressor II nerf isn't substantial enough. Mission vehicles having no sort of countermeasures make the reduced homing worthless.
- Warehouse doesn't auto source, you need to go to each warehouse and dispatch workers
- New weapons aren't available straight away or might require something special like the Combat Shotgun and Perico Pistol
- Weird complaints about how the "timeline" doesn't make sense? (pretty sure GTA Online has been on a linear timeline since Heists?)
- More shitty stealth sections (actually played this mission, it's *super* shitty to the point where I even wonder if Stealth is actually possible)
- Nightclub Bouncer Mission payment is really low
- RC Race creator not available
- There's a checkpoint in the final(?) IAA mission that places you directly in the line of mini gun fire forcing you to restart the whole mission.
- Hardly any new clothing
- Agent ULP consistently promises a big money payout during the IAA missions, and the grand total of all the missions (with the event bonus btw) is like 250k
- People annoyed by the barrage of phone calls mentioning how expensive gas is, and how ULP has to constantly mention how hot his balls are in missions.
- Agency pay reductions flying in the face of the theme being "increased payouts"
- Some are bitching that removing the advanced handling flags have, surprise, made the vehicles act strangely.

It's pretty funny how they went from "best update ever" to "wow this is a total piece of shit" real quick. I kinda missed the GTAForum tards not gonna lie.
