He seems to be under the impression that if you're a young woman who supports Bernie Sanders, you also want to fuck Bernie Sanders. He doesn't understand that that is not necessarily the case, and even if it were, there's a difference between wanting to fuck a presidential hopeful and a fat jobless slob with a face that screams rape.

This is one of the reasons why I found his "young women are mirrors that men can see themselves in" comment from earlier in the thread so unsettling. Its dehumanizing and a silly generalization. If anything, he makes it obvious from that statement he wants a trophy, not a mirror. If this guy was capable of self-reflection he wouldn't be such a huge cunt.

I've also been wondering what his reasoning is. He seems painfully aware that young women who support Sanders discriminate among men by age just as much as other young women do, even though ideologically, in his mind, they ought not to. Maybe he thinks that if Sanders becomes President he can actually bring an end to all discrimination, as well as the wealth inequality that he also recognizes as one of the things women judge him on. Then again, far-fetched as that is, it might be too rational. I think there might be something more pathological here, like confusing the fulfillment of one wish with the fulfillment of another.

I kinda want Sanders to win just to see this guy's brief moment of excitement before the inevitable disappointment.

Maybe he will start blaming Bernie sanders for his problems and then morph into a conservative by the next election season, "If you abort fetuses you are the ultimate ageist whore!" "Hey bigoted females, fiscal conservationism is sexy!".

This guy's like the ultimate demonstration of the Horseshoe Theory: simultaneously supporting Sanders and advocating state-sponsored matchmaking.
 
Wait, he's offering women dinner, and then saying that they should consider paying for it? Offering dinner typically means to actually make dinner, right?

You'd think a guy who was all "You work, wifeslave, and I'll prepare the house" would want to cook to at least show off. But this guy probably cant even manage to do laundry, judging by his clothes. Who would believe this guy could do his share of a relationship's work?

very threadworthy. I go between finding this guy funny/pathetic and genuinely scary.

For those fortunate enough not to be saturated in media coverage of the US prez election cycle, there was for a little while a lot of talk on social media about the "Bernie Bro," meaning basically a cis vaping atheist who loved Bernie Sanders and was sexist. To the degree I gave it any thought at all, I sort of figured the "Bernie Bro" was a strawman invented by Hillary supporters.... but I was #naive. I hadn't encountered this creepy freak yet.

There's a reason younger women don't want to date him, it's because he has nothing to offer them. I don't even mean in the looks or personality department either because if he truly was as good or nice as he makes himself out to be, he shouldn't have a problem. But he does and I think we know why.

Being broke, unemployed and expects her to do the work in the relationship means that no woman with any level of self-respect will go near this fucker. Like it or not, he needs to man up and do something about those things he can change, like his lack of a job and money. And if he stops being such a douche then maybe he can find a woman to put up with him.
