The Awful Fursuit Thread - Viewer beware, you're in for a scare!

I still wonder just what in the hell Nicolas Cage was thinking when he agreed to star in that.
I would assume some sort of mental break considering he didn't really want any lines in it and, while bad, it was extremely bizarre.
But also--
Yes.

and figured I could contribute it here. If it's been posted, forgive me, I don't frequent this thread much.

Ah yes, the giant titty horse fursuit. It's been mentioned a couple of times in the furry convention drama thread. If you don't want to read the whole thread, the short version is that the suit was seen a lot at Anthrocon 2022 a few weeks ago and drummed up a fair amount of controversy, with people arguing that a suit as fetishy as this should not have been out and about in an event advertised as "family-friendly", and it made a lot of fursuiters uncomfortable they were even allowed to wear this in the first place.

We did get this amazingly moronic take from some random furry claiming this suit is "totally not a fetish u guyz". Never mind the fact that the horse suit's owner is your typical twitter-obsessed MtF posting a constant stream of stupid political takes and fetish art consisting of hyper-sized boobs.

The tiger fursuit example used isn't really the same thing, but the guy with the oversized cock and balls fursuit is, and it's just as universally disgusted. At least here anyways.

And yeah, the big titty horse has been featured in this thread, but any current sighting is a good reason to shame them some more. I mean, lopsided poorly done boobs aside you can see lines in the fur. It's a bad suit all around.

This is the sort of thing that finally woke me up to the fact that the furry fandom is not so much a cringy hobby/genre as it is a completely degenerate cult.

Whose members did not have friends that told them to knock it off.
someone brought up how women in sporting events tend to wear less than what these furries are wearing.
aside from the arguement that can be made about how the cultural context of clothing can be more lewd than nudity... i mean, thats why lingerie exists, otherwise why get naked and then put on something else to bed? but i think the thing that makes a 'community' stand out from a public event is that it's, well, not public.
no one is gonna groom a kid right there on the football field.
no degenerate is gonna get away with convincing a kid that this is what they wanna be doing behind closed doors.... mostly because the kinda kids that get taken to football games usually have a father figure, but thats besides the point.

And they wonder why the public see them as freaks….

Lavafox partials never looked great to begin with, but this one looks particularly bad:
all these "animal with down syndrome" jokes made me realize, if one of these people actually tried making a fursuit of a character who canonically has down syndrome, they'd be damn good at it! how's that for untapped potential...

I can't get over the fact that someone took pictures of this suit (and suits that look like this), looked at the result and thought "yes, this looks good. I should expose this creation to the world". How unaware they are of how atrocious their 1st grade Halloween project looks is astonishing.

You know what, imagine someone setting up a business to make and sell Down Syndrome themed fursuits. I feel like profits would soar and you would get bonus points on Twitter for the representation or whatever.

Dino masks repurposed to look like something furry never yields good results.

A disability themed fursuit maker is something I'm sure exists, yet somehow I've never seen before

And buddy, there's an edit post button
