At least with the second photo/first patient that's not T, that's a ridiculously lazy mastectomy. Most of the time, the quack butcher will remove the breasts along with enough tissue to create a flat chest. Here the butcher only did the first step, s/he removed all the breast tissue + nerves then just left all the loose, saggy skin (including nipples which may no longer have adequate bloodflow) on the patient and sewed up the (empty, deflated) breasts. For the second patient/fourth photo I don't understand why but most SRS quack butchers either can't or won't use a technique that creates less scarring which creates the horrifying smiley face.

Being this is a trans centered thread, I've got to ask: once you've finished puberty and grown into your body, what does going onto the hormones of the opposite sex do for you, outside of making your voice deeper or becoming more moody due to the introduction of hormones and suppressors like Levo? I see some trans women saying it redistributes fat to make a more female form, for one, but I dont see how that's possible post puberty. It doesn't change skeletal form.

It seems more FTM get secondary sex traits (deeper voice, male pattern hair growth) as compared to MTF individuals, so what do MTF gain? It seems largely psychological. Could one argue that these hormones are being allocated to the wrong people? I recall an estradiol shortage in the US some years ago, and a MTF I knew was panicking about it. What of the natal women that need it? Would more woke people rage against those women so MTF individuals could keep receiving it?

So many thoughts!

estrogen effects in mtf take much longer to show. from the pics I've seen it's not even noticeable unless they're been on it for a decade+. It does affect fat distribution and most noticeably the skin. There's some elderly mtfs that have been on hrt for decades with thin translucent skin typical in old ladies. for ftms the effects are more immediate.
