More interesting to me is who is the smart and shrewd operator behind a doofus reputation?

Dubya strikes me as one of those. Fundamentally incurious and lazy, yes. More than willing to let staffers do all the work while he hammed up for the camera and mangled folksy aphorisms, but stupid like the rep the media tried to pin on him?

There's a reason he got to be President while hard-working and earnest Jeb got stuck holding the guac bowl.

I moved 3 times in 1 year while in King County, and for the following 2 years, they would send me 3 ballots. I had to contact the election office numerous times to make it stop. I'd imagine a lot of people in the area don't have the same integrity.

Lmao. From my experience the only “Republicans against Trumpism” are boomer age gated community scotch drinking and golf playing pricks who go on some five digit hunts in Africa/Canada/Mexico to impress their fellow “moral republican” neighbors.

Their time on this earth and growth is a net negative.

I do remember something like that when they were rioting In DC 2019. There were two guys speaking chinese in the background on camera and everybody jumped on it for a few.

Washington doesn’t have legitimate elections and hasn’t since the introduction of mail in ballots.

Better fun fact: Spanish Flu was called Spanish Flu because Spain (which was neutral in WW1) was the only place where the media of the time could talk about the virus freely. The rest of Europe had their media on lockdown not allowing them to talk about the virus in it's early days and only when WW1 ended did the gag order lift, resulting in everyone calling it the "Spanish Flu" because of mangled telephone games making it seem like the virus originated in Spain because Spain was the only country where it was being covered in the media.

I think this is what the end-result of this controversy will be, but I've got to say the Biden admin really screwed the pooch with this one. First mistake was Pelosi's plan being leaked in the first place, second mistake was Biden saying publically it was a bad idea and that "the military" didn't like it, and the third mistake was the constant seesawing about whether or not she was actually going up to yesterday. Makes one wonder what the Chinese reaction would've been if the leak hadn't been sprung in the first place.

Here's a few highlights of what she learned.
  • She was mystified that Submarines could submerge beyond the top of their Periscopes.
  • That nuclear weapons are different from conventional weapons.
  • That things don't "fix themselves if you just leave them alone for a bit"
  • Nuclear Command and Control centers need to have communication equipment.
  • That we have nuclear weapons in different sizes.
  • That we have ballistic missiles that don't have a global/unlimited range.
  • That ballistic missiles are not re-usable. She literally thought that the missiles would reach the target, drop off the payload, and then return back to the launcher/launchpad to be re-armed.
  • and so, so much more.
Apparently, that round of training didn't stick either.

This guy said he had the misfortune of doing something similar for Sheila Jackson Lee (another competitor for World's Stupidest Politico), and he said that Liz Cheney was worse.

The very fact that I am able to accept there is the possibility of someone dumber than Hank Johnson in politics, or as vacuous as Kamala Harris really makes me was to curl up in a ClownWorld resistant blankie.

I also have it right now. Luckily I am now outfitted in a proper ClownWorld/PoohFlu resistant blanket now, so things have improved.
