Personally, I want Gabriel to be one of the new characters. Story pits him as strong as Slayer, and the game is in need of more characters that aren't 4 star difficulty Balance characters. That being said, I hope Slayer comes out too.

Im waiting for the eventual slipups and slapfights to pop up around it, ive already seen one or two prominent youtubers go "wait whut, that wasnt the lore"
Gonna be interesting how the JPN dub handled it, if they changed it completely then wew
Also curious on if anyone will care by the time slayer comes out too, Bridget's OST is another miss like Testament's theme for me so far smh

I'm not knowledgable about GG lore, but isn't Bridget's backstory basically "he was raised as a girl without his consent because of some shit with only having 1 son and 1 daughter"? If that lore is still consistent then isn't that just a textbook example of grooming from a very young age being successful and, in this context, celebrated?
Whether you're for or against all the trans stuff, you can't deny this is a pretty fucking stupid move. In their attempt to go "omg trans character!" they actually ended up creating a character who practically embodies what their opponents believe in.
