Strive was the first game I tried using a hitbox in and they're so good it feels like cheating. I switched because I can't use joysticks anymore without hand pain, and I had a series of a few months where my 35 year old ass was hitting celestial vip first day every month and playing the best people who were willing to play online and doing OK, and usually making it three or four rounds into pools in the online tournaments.
Hitboxes seem better but I'm a pad baby. I tried keyboard because I heard it's better for playing charge characters in SFV but doing motions without a stick or pad turns my brain to jelly.
Keyboard is basically a Hitbox but the layout of a Hitbox is a bit better.
I'm honestly surprised that it didn't shoot up in price faster, I felt like I got one super late for pretty cheap.
I'm at a middle point where I'm interested in playing but not interested in paying. I can wait until it's just a few shekels.
Im calling western tomfoolery here. Testament has always been a dude and I'd be interested to see if the Japanese uses gender neutral language too
The JP VA is a female, so we'll find out.
