And I'm certainly no legal kiwi - let alone a youtube lawyer - but to me it seems like you're right, overall.I am very curious about the legal ins and outs of the "In Minecraft" defense. I'd love if one of those Youtube guys that does like interrogation footage analysis would do a breakdown on it. Like it seems shaky but like, anyone can replicate anything in Minecraft and the government can't make it illegal for someone to say "I'm gonna blow up my Minecraft white house with a bunch of TNT" because that's a thing someone could do without hurting anyone.
However. My point is that while you may eventually be cleared of all charges in the end, or that such 1st Amendment issues make even bringing such charges an impossibility, the process of the investigation would be punishment enough.
