Flags & Vexillology

Found a website that generates random flags. Results vary between mildly funny and mildly cursed.
Here's a few samples.

Not sure if it's been posted yet, but the modern Iranian flag is truly a masterpiece. Vibrant colors, a stylish emblem, and if you'll notice, the borders between the stripes say "Allahu Akbar" written in Kufic 11 times each.
In the same vein as Liberian county flags, here's some Asafo flags, early 19th century West African militia groups of Fante tribesmen, who were backed by the British for some reason.

First the giant fish ready to eat a boat that is simultaneously a sailing ship and a steamer.

And then a cross between a lion and an otter confronts a ball pit, which is already occupied by 2 cats.

And this one can't even get the Union Jack right

And this one reminds me of a meme that I can't find right now.

I’m quite fond of some English county flags
The British county flags have a lot of good, clean designs amongst them.

Warwickshire's is very distinctive and uses the bear and staff, used for at least 500 years for the county (clipping from a 1600 map on right). It also looks like a bear climbing a ladder.

Westmorland's is very striking and combines symbols of the two medieval baronies the county was created from

Berkshire's is pretty busy, but is aesthetic and plays on the legend of Herne the Hunter (14th century courtier wronged, hanged himself from an oak tree, his spirit returns as a stag to haunt the forests of Berkshire)

Suffolk' s is simple and very striking and uses the arms of the East Anglian king, Saint Edmund, who is buried in the county, in Bury Saint Edmunds (not the origin of the town's name, unfortunately)

Finally, the Welsh county of Merionethshire -- very striking. Goats worshipping/dancing in front of the sun, makes it seems like the result of an acid trip. Thought to be something to do with goats gathering for sunrise on a particular spot on a mountain in the county

Question:
The Fleur de Lis...

-I was told that the design was based on a pole-arm, and the underlying statement was about fighting for liberty...

C/D ?

Yeah, that's probably not true. It very clearly looks like a stylized lily, which makes sense given the name.

I kinda like the flag of Uruguay, it's got an interesting design.
