Usually the endings you have to work the hardest for tend to be the true endings,
that hasnt been the case for strive, you can look up anything about the arcade endings and nobody classifies them as "good" "bad" or "true" until this one.
watching all of bridgets its pretty clear they are meant to build off each other and tell one narrative.
even if we look at the stage 7 flawless win it talks about Bridget running away and being lost....so the question is what could the character possibly be lost about at this point? Bridget brought great wealth to the village, and proved the superstitoin wrong...yet the character is lost and running away, and turning away from thier true self
so then you look at the stage 7 loss and whats teh dialouge about...bridget not being thier true self, thinking being quite would work out(bridget has never been quite about being a man in the actual games, so its not reffering to that) bridget talks about how much it hurts and how they havent even told the parents.
when we get to the stage 8 flawless run bridget talks about how ky went public with gears and being afraid of what people would say, ky responds about how he wasnt afraid and didnt want to lie to himself or his family. bridget responds with "I wish I could be like you"
so the question is what does stage 8 flawless say about bridget? the characters has aready been out about being a boy, and has proven the village superstition is bull, so what is the character afraid of in context of kys words?
and then the stage 9 ending is living true to yourself no matter what others think, and that it still scares bridget a little.
so once again what is the context of stage 9 dialouge? bridget has been living as an out and sucessful femboy for a long time at this point, why would the character be having a confidence issue? why would living as your true self be a problem still? why would the character care what peope say at this point, why when told in stage 8 bridget wishes they could be like ky(who states he doesnt want to lie to himself)
you guys are free to come to your own conculsioins, but the flawless run just seems more subtle, but still the same topic. the loss scenes just seem more diagoue heavy, like bridget losing the fights forces the character to have more direct realizations or something.
the character has been a sucessful femboy bounty hunter who brought wealth to the village and disproved its superstions, and despite that all the flawless run dialouge is about the character being lost, afraid to be thier trueself and how they want to be honest about who they really are like Ky. I dont see how you could read this stuff as it being about bridget being happy as a femboy if im being honest.
