Linus Gabriel Sebastian & Linus Media Group / Linus Tech Tips - Narcissistic corporate shill YouTuber driving his media empire into the ground. KILL COUNT: 2

Completely unimportant, but I remember that in some old LTT video shouted out byuu/Near for his higan emulator. I'm not sure if he ever sperged out about the byuuicide like Anthony did, or if he even believes in it in the first place.

The whole labs concept makes no since mostly because its already being done better by other established people. This labs stuff just reeks of linus being upset that smaller channels like GN upstage him when it comes to actual tech.

LTT is nothing but infomercials for whatever sponsor gave them the item for that video. Even the PSU tester was sponsored by seasonic and seasonic gave them some guides. Won't be a surprise when all their testing starts favoring seasonic.
it is.
as per Linus in the video (loosely): "its to see if the company is being truthful or not with their product"
and in order to achieve that he will need to buy multiple units as to act as a sample (and this can be difficult as there are multiple batches too)

I get that Linus wont follow such standard due to cost and time, but even he should know that this is the standard of QC.
its literally a dick measuring contest with other creators and manufacturers.

I don't think i ever got any actual "tech tips" from Linus Tech Tips.

At this point the only reason I'm watching is for the channels eventual implosion.

For example, the Linux challenge series of videos was just a complete embarrassment. I'm no linuxfag, but many of the issues they had workarounds they weren't interested in even looking at.

A "tech tips" channel like linus' has no business in giving advice for anything knowing that they suck the cock of any sponsor who gives them money.

Also, does a youtube channel really need to have 2-3 buildings and a staff of 70 or so people? I have a feeling when the LTTlabs thing fails there will be massive layoffs.
As Said some Pages before. This isn't a Tech Tips Channel, itcs mostly a shiny Tech Display Channel, like MKBHD.

I remember them doing a Video in "Windows 9", which Turns Out was Just the embedded OS released between Windows 8 and 10. The technical stuff amounted to installing the latest graphics drivers, which any fag could do. And then they benchmarked games in it.

Techquickie taught me about some miscellaneous things like how flash memory works, but I haven't watched it in years now.

Reading through the comment section of the latest HW News video from GN really makes me happy to see that so many people from the general audience are realizing what LMG and Linus have become.

Anyway, it was fun to see GN roast him so hard in their latest video.
Steve hardly roasted Linus; he merely pointed out that GN has drawn a line in the sand and considers LTT merch to be exactly the same as products made or marketed by any other company. Heck, Linus' sidekick roasted Linus harder than Steve did.

I'm shocked at how few Linus dickriders are in the comments section.

Steve went a little beyond, there was no need to put in multiple clips and closeups of Luke being very uncomfortable with Linus. The inclusion of those clips kinda roasts harder than anything Steve could say in a professional context. Clearly Linus and Luke had talked about the situation and Luke expressed his disapproval and Linus kept awkwardly bringing it up and laughing. Like he was trying to weirdly win an argument with Luke by bringing it up in public and acting like his audience supports his epic trolling and Luke's fuddy duddy professionalism concerns were so lame. All the while Luke didn't want to discuss it in public because he's a fucking adult and a representative of a multi-million dollar company.

In 13 years these are the only videos he's ever even done about specifically the topic of power supplies, and that's sort of fair enough given they aren't the best thing for pulling in zoomers. And zoomers is who Linus should be thinking about, for better or worse the channel is mostly them and they aren't gonna care about, slight power differences in power supplies.
Dumb take. When you're putting a PC together you're gonna seek detailed reviews of the components, and PSUs, particularly cheaper ones, are some the most under-reviewed items out there, probably because it take specialized equipment and knowledge to do it properly like JonnyGuru used to (and they didn't really review the cheaper stuff either). It's also important to remember that the point is to have a dedicated channel, site, etc. for it.
Look at most PSU reviews out there, with few exceptions they're just people rattling off what's on the side of the box and about how it looks. If he manages to develop an OK reputation it could be a mainstay resource of PC building.

GN's Steve says gloves are off when it comes to Linus now. He even commented on the trust me bro t shirt, and how much of a bad taste that is. So others are starting to notice how Linus is on the way to to becoming a laughingstock. Wan show is going to be a shitshow this Friday i bet :story: I have to wonder how many hot takes he is going to throw out.
I'm glad to see Steve's unbiased balls go swinging out against Linus and their pettiness. Maybe this will be the powder keg needed for Linus's slow, or fast implosion.

If that counts as a "roast" then Linus is a thinner-skinned manchild than I gave him credit for, and zoomers are an even softer bunch of faggots than I imagined possible.

Buy an evga power supply for like 30-60 bucks and call it a day. So long as it's got enough watts for your system, doesn't have a low review rating on newegg and has a warranty. It doesn't matter I have different things to be autistic about in a given system.

That's about as hardcore as a roast as Gamers Nexus will ever do. They're obsessed with being professional and fair to a fault. They're not going to call Linus a little faggot bitch or something lol.

This video turned LTT foruns into a nice shitshow, tomorrow wan show will be fun.

Most of the active threads on general, merch and off-topic are complains about Linus and the vast majority of people are going against Linus.
Reddit's LTT thread about the video is mostly negative towards Linus, some dickriders are just parroting the same thing Linus said, like a bad ventriloquist. MUH TRUST ME BRO. A lot are pulling "Well he could shut down the company and then you are SOL on warranty". Not thinking the damage he would do to his personal credibility, he would never be able to talk about consumer rights abuse that any other computing company did again. If he did a thing like that. Not to mention, he would have to give up going on cam to even try to save his youtube channel from the drama of it. A few pages back i said that Linus, is just that Artesian builds guy with a better disguise on. And it seems i was proven correct in a matter of weeks. Behind the scenes i would bet everything i own that Linus talks about his customers and employees in the same way. Boiling everything down to statistics, and saying not so nice things about everyone. GN and Steve putting the boot in early i would bet is more about preservation of their public image, not really about starting drama for what people usually start drama for. Just a way to put a big red line between the two channels, so they are not forced to run damage control for his stupid ass in the future.
Will Linus course correct? Fuck knows, the funniest thing for me and this site, is that he has a massive sperg out and continues to decline. But GN's video may make him a little humble(Or at least act like it on WAN show inb4 Youtuber apology video).
