Those are regular troops receiving bog standard training. Not commandos. :stress:
I truly am trying to reach you through the ones and zeros in the fiber cable. Do you think guys who got 4 months of basic infantry training make sense in context? Especially with the "trained" between quotes? Do you?
Well, when something important is happening, usually people pay attention only to that thing, and that's maybe what ukies were counting on (and the fact that NOONE was expecting amphibious landing, let alone on the day of IAEA arrival).
Not really. First of all, the fact that there's an inspection team arriving also puts the troops under scrutiny. Patrol routes that were probably being ignored will be done to look busy and not have officers chew out the privates for slacking off. Second, the fact that there's strangers being introduced into the plant also makes everyone more tense because Russia has to trust the pinky swear that nothing funky will happen. And to trust you must verify. This includes making sure you're not being distracted. Hell, they'd have to pay more attention to their surroundings because an agent could try to insert themselves into the NPP by dressing as an inspector.
There's also the question of how exactly the raid would happen. So they disembark, enter the NPP, now what? They kill everyone? Take hostages? How would the 64 commandos make it out alive after doing whatever they were supposed to do?

So what is it exactly that you are trying to say, that there was no Kherson counterattack, and everything (including statements from Ukrainian officials) is just Russian propaganda?

So is the tl&dr; that the Ukies tried to take Kherson back, it didn't really work, and they're back to the same general stalemate they were at before?
Man I wish whatever negotiated peace could happen just to stop wasting everyone's time.

That, and the Ukies took another hit to morale due to another failed operation that was hyped up by their propaganda officers.

People were reporting that HARM missiles were flying in Ukraine way before they were "officially" announced to be there.

Do I need to spell it out to you that they're making hidden deals?

It's much worse, it's Br*ta*n.
I know it is a real photo, but whatever post-processing they did, makes it have the same energy as this:

I'm talking about the alleged NPP raid.

The HARMs have serial, supplier and contract numbers in many of the parts. They also have a distinctive shape so when you do find one, you can tell what it is.
If you arrest or kill a Ukrainian commando how do you know he was trained by the Bongs? Do they get a tattoo like Agent 47?

What about the NPP raid? Are you saying that it did not happen?

Sure sounds like a raid to me.
"This morning the situation was pretty difficult but ... having come this far, I was not going to stop," said Grossi.

"There were moments where fire was obvious, heavy machine gun, artillery mortars, at two or three times (it was) really very concerning I would say for all of us."

Edit: More references to the raid.
ZAPORIZHZHIA, Ukraine —
A United Nations inspection team arrived at Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant Thursday on a mission to safeguard it from catastrophe, reaching the site amid fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces that prompted the shutdown of one reactor and underscored the urgency and danger of the task.

So is the tl&dr; that the Ukies tried to take Kherson back, it didn't really work, and they're back to the same general stalemate they were at before?
Man I wish whatever negotiated peace could happen just to stop wasting everyone's time.
That was apparently close to happening in April, until British Boy Boris John-thirty-stone waddled into the great Russian town of Kiev and put the kibosh on it.

What I find amazing about that story is that - if true - realists within the Elbonian government were willing to work out a compromise that involved the oft-touted security guarantees [including the big no-HATO membership] but that "...[the UK and US] are not." So, when it comes to Elbonian "sovereignty" it's not Z-man or the Ukrainian people [remember them?] making decisions about their relationship with their neighbors, it's POZ-London and Sodom-on-the-Potomic.

Sure sounds like a raid to me.
The article also states they were crossing into Russian controlled territory and then back into Ukrainian territory. Obviously they would hear fighting going on in a war zone while crossing the designated corridors.

Yes, they heard the sounds of fighting from the failed Ukrainian raid on the power plant. How else would you hear machineguns while at the power plant?

Can you faggots stop taking the bait from UB40 up there, for months he's ducked and dived like the best politician and has no interest in being honest or truthful in his statements. Instead we clog up page after page of faggots arguing with a retard.
You're right. I know I'm among the worst offenders and for that I apologize.

For the love of all that is holy. God fucking damn me for all eternity. I have to treat you people like children or tech boomers.

Where's the reference to the raid? Your "source" referencing the raid links to an article posted the day before the supposed raid happened, and when you read it, it states that the fighting has been going on for months.
Is the barge so fucking slow it's been heading to the NPP since March? Huh?

Note that the headline of the article was:

U.N. inspectors reach Ukrainian nuclear plant despite fierce fighting

Now read the Reuters article.
"This morning the situation was pretty difficult but ... having come this far, I was not going to stop," said Grossi.

"There were moments where fire was obvious, heavy machine gun, artillery mortars, at two or three times (it was) really very concerning I would say for all of us."

I understand that selective dyslexia is a thing when it comes to Ukraine simps, but at least try and make an effort to not embarrass yourself.

More info on the NPP raid, Russian-only.

Edit: Here's a CBS article with a full quote from Grossi.
"So, wish us luck," said Grossi as his team set off in a convoy of about 20 vehicles for the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which is the largest in Europe. "There has been increased military activity, including this morning, until very recently, a few minutes ago…. Accepting that the risks are very, very high. Still, myself and the team, we believe that we can proceed with this. We have a very important mission to accomplish."
Now what's that in reference to?

Thanks to the fact interesting things happen at best once a week with the war now, and Opsec from both sides have been tightened so half the time when we do get footage it's old or reused, I just have to say let the slapfighting continue.
LetThemFight.gif

The fun of the first month or two of the war is over, replaced with a battle of attrition where the lines might advance a dozen miles a month, where Vatniks act like they're just a week away from capturing Nikolaev and Westoids act like they're just a week away from recapturing Kherson.

Don't like to make this comparison, but keeping tabs on the actual war for the past couple months has been about as interesting as playing a exteremely heavy turtle playstyle in an RTS game.
