This update is mildly Bam related. Seeing as how Bam is behaving for the time being he’s going to be providing very little content until he manages to slip away from his oppressors so this involves the Free Bam movement.

BJ Courville, aka @thatsurpisewitness aka @bj.investigates is a YouTube personality who rose to prominence during the Free Britney movement, and after more recently latching onto the Bam situation she has been the leading voice of dissent against his family’s attempts to get him clean against his will.

I’ve mentioned in the past that she has a throbbing hate boner for Bam’s guardian Lima Jevremovic and she’s now being sued for libel and slander. Most people paying attention aren’t surprised by this as the Margeras have been dropping hints lately that this would happen.

BJ wasted no time starting a GFM to ask for 25K and since FreeBritney followers seemingly have piles of cash to burn she’s already raised close to 20K in 2-3 day’s time.

I remember when IMDB had their message board for celebrities and movies, Bam's had a thread where people talked about how much of an asshole he was to them or someone else. It was crazy reading that. And the big thing is that this was before Dunn's death. People see Bam's heartfelt reaction to Dunn dying and use it as excuse for him as an addict. Bam is both an asshole and addict, but the people supporting him also encourage him to ignore his problems. It wouldn't surprise me if Bam kills himself overdosing with star struck fans because he was on Jackass in the 2000's.

I know people get old. I know some people let themselves go a little after they hit 40 or so. But goddamn dude, what Bam did to himself is horrible.

I'm not old enough to remember exactly the impact Jackass had when it first launched, but I remember seeing some movies later a lot of women thirsting over Bam good looks. And yeah, he's a douche, but he was a good looking guy. What he did to himself is something out of a horror movie. He looks nothing like the guy he once was, and while I know nobody will look 18 forever, generally speaking, good looking people end up looking good in their middle age and later years if they take care of themselves.

Bam twisted himself into a bad caricature of what he once was through drugs and untreated mental illnesses, and while I think he's a fucking douchebag, this whole thing is tragic.

It's shocking how little people truly take care of themselves and how a modicum of self-care prevents one from looking like a fat goblin by the time they turn 25. Bam has no exuses.

I have heard from people in skateboarding that before the guardianship happened his parents had a tight grip on his purse strings to keep him from going broke and he was “only allowed” 10K a week to live on. Two or three weeks and he would have a shiny new mouth, a bottle of pills,and a couple of grand in change. Since there’s no good reason why he hasn’t, the obvious answer is mental illness.
