Because if they do, then we don't get content to laugh at. I'm glad you brought this up. I have often thought this too in contrast to the normal point that the internet makes people antisocial. Its a different (and lesser) form of socialization but its still, via social media, a form of constant socialization. This prevents people from developing a rich inner life and coming to value the very concept of privacy or things for public and private consumption being different from each other.

Zoomers/influencers/and dopamine addicts like Keffals (and many lolcows) put so much effort into a public persona because it is literally all they have. Theres something extremely sad about this even when the people doing it are so empty and odious.

P.S. unrelated: If I had a new account and joined just for this ever lengthening thread I would totally make my user name either Ontologically Stochastic or Schotastically Ontological. Current lurkers, feel free to steal my what-ifs.

Sure, your average poutine is shitty and has poor-quality gravy and cheese, but it's a more versatile dish than most people expect. Even well-made poutine with just cheese gravy and fries can benefit immensely from quality ingredients. Most restaurants probably just serve gravy packets heated with water instead of making it from scratch. Many use the wrong cheese entirely. I understand shitty restaurants being inferior is the case with most foods. I genuinely recommend trying to make it at home from scratch (maybe not the fries) with a less obnoxiously salty gravy with more depth to it. Peas are optional but a few are encouraged.

IIRC the actual plan is to release a headless version of the site so anyone can stand up a copy, anywhere. Torrenting is the best way to distribute that freely and without being blocked. Then Null rides off into the sunset and farms banana peppers or whatever.

Again, Lucas doesn't understand how the Internet works. If he somehow manages to shut down KF, he's going to spend the rest of his life trying to squash hundreds of copies run on $5 VPS hosts in unfriendly countries who don't care about troon whining.
