Most irc servers currently used have some kind of vhost by default. You probably also shouldn't use DCC with anyone you don't trust though, and scripting can be pretty sketchy.

Your last sentence is interesting. Emulation is never perfect. You can you put as much work as you want into programming an emulator but software will never truly compare to original hardware. If you want an idea of how hard it is to replicate hardware through software, just ask David Kirk Gind..... oh wait.

Even then unless you have a static IP address all it's going to point to is your ISP. And without a court order or warrant they're not giving that information out.

Hostile isn't the term I'd use. It's next to impossible to use on TOR. It's just jumps to the next set of crosswalks, traffic lights and cars. You enter the info a dozen times and it's still asking you to click on something.
