Rumble is the obvious suitor, but why pay for exclusivity when he's already announced that he's reluctant to return to livestreaming on YouTube until all the strikes expire, and his general attitude has been fuck YouTube? You're going to give this guy six-figures when his only other alternative is Odysee?
I figure that they want to keep him around and make him some of the face for their marketing. Also, I figure that they will want him to expand his content and do regular programming that they can feature as a line-up of creators. Glenn Greenwald is doing that with them, and it is not a bad idea to get the publicity of several well-known voices of dissent within the mainstream narrative to rally people to Rumble and up the value of those ad dollars.

The article (letter to the editor) Nick is currently reading:

WI v. Darell Brooks will go down as yet another trial in Wisconsin with a racist, unjust outcome. Justice was denied to Darrell Brooks repeatedly throughout the trial, and the outcome only solidified that we have a long way to go in our fight for justice in Wisconsin.
Throughout the trial, the judge repeatedly cut off Mr. Brooks and refused to let him speak. The judge went so far as to deny Mr. Brooks his right to call additional witnesses and to testify himself. Mr. Brooks’ actions were completely justified given the way he has been treated the past year, and throughout his life.
The majority of the individuals who testified were white. They ganged up on him to spread lies, and the judge was complicit. Mr. Brooks, a black man, was repeatedly told by the judge to “stop talking.” Numerous times the judge talked over Mr. Brooks, moved Mr. Brooks to another courtroom, and muted Mr. Brooks when she didn’t like what he was saying.

Did members of the jury receive any anti-bias training? What about anti-racist training? Do the members of the jury understand the meaning of equity in our criminal justice system? Why wasn’t Mr. Books allowed to argue for jury nullification?
Wisconsin’s criminal laws were written by a racist, gerrymandered legislature. Jury nullification should be an option in every single court case involving a person of color.

I guess we learned nothing from what happened to George Floyd. Two years later and nothing has changed. Racism is alive and well in and outside of the courtrooms of Wisconsin. It’s time we look in the mirror and reflect on our white privilege.
How long are we going to stay silent and let more black men fill our prisons due to our complicit racism? White silence is violence, and another black man will have to spend the rest of his life behind bars because of it.

This is either a really good troll or this is an example of the white bitches Drexel and his gangbang gang hollow out.

Negotations. He can go back to Youtube at anytime, but lock him up after seeing the traffic he brings in, and he is there no matter what. Ups and Downs. Have to make it worth his while. I said he was jockying for this since the day he was banned. Better for him was getting his YT channel back, because he has options. He might not want to go back to YT, but its not like he can't. Platform only, YT crushes the others, so you as the new guy on the block want to lock these people up for the building phase. SteveWillDo it was perma banned on YT and Rumble paid him too. He had no where else to go as well, but they want to use these people and their views/viewers as advertising, pumping their platforms.

Gosney was shit talking the idea of making a YouTube channel and calling Nick his law pope while the site was down. It inspired a little fan art from me.

How accurate is social blade/play board? Nick brought it up when he briefly mentioned how dead legalbytes's channel vs his growth. Took a look and play board is saying she made 5$ off her last stream. How embarrassing :story:
For superchats, it is bang-on, except if you cross the 0200 -0300 line where they cut off a day's earnings. In that case, some chats from a late night show get tallied to the next day.

For ad dollars, it is only accurate to a factor of 7X or so--higher or lower.

LB streams at normal times, so you can guess that her chat dollars are fairly accurate per diem.

Who would bother watching Legal Bytes when you have someone like Emily D. Baker who is better in every way.

Slight off topic, but related to Rumble.

Rumble seems to be the alt-tech site to go for.
I recently uploaded a half an hour long video to youtube that was a music video set to something I'd composed. I spent like a week autistically making everything fit to the music. When I upload it, youtube managed to remove some clips - but here's the weird thing. There are sections where there is more than one video mixed in with another, at different levels of opacity. They managed to remove some of the clips, but not the others, leaving the other ones underneath. I have NO idea how they did that, but I'm fucking pissed! I spent all week making sure every.single.second was perfect, sometimes having to go through another 3 hour render just for 15 seconds worth of changes. And youtube doesn't even just block sections, but FUCKS WITH MY EDITING SO IT LOOKS DIFFERENT! Technologically, it's impressive, but in reality it makes me mad, so so mad. There's about 3 sections with two minutes total that have been ruined because sections don't make sense without the other stuff under it.

NO notifications about why this happened, NO notification that it even HAD happened, they just fucked about two days worth of editing work and said nothing.

I've now made a Rumble account because fuck that. I'm uploading the video to there and seeing if they will show the version I actually want. If they do, I'm probably going to switch to there full time.
Are these Youtube video editing bots here in the room with us now?

Now I'm not saying what you're describing isn't possible, but are you positive it was a Youtube Bot fucking with you and not you uploading an older version of your video? Or potentially some flaw with the way you compiled the video?

Tech is wizardry to me, but following the troubleshooting flow chart you need to consider your own actions before chalking it up to evil Youtube juju.

Nick hasn't gone into much details about the exclusivity deal but he did mention in his post-stream Locals stream responding to some questions from the chat and saying how he makes a pretty good amount of money "and once I get this exclusivity deal signed I'm going to be making a comedic amount of money." Apparently there's a decent chunk of money on the table.

I checked the uploaded file after. My edits were there. I reuploaded the file, after checking it was correct. YouTube did the same thing again.

He will need it for the liver transplant. And the transplant of whatever other organs alcohol destroys.

God bless our favorite small town drunken lawyer. Those faggot troons really helped him out by "cancelling" him.

There would have to be. Playboard is a great negotiating tool for him because anyone asking for exclusivity would have to make it worth his while. Whatever they offer has to be matched up against the million he earned on YouTube. He has multiple streams where he made over $10,000 in a single day. That kind of exclusivity gets expensive.
