Where do you guys get the idea that what goes on here would persuade anybody or make an iota of difference in people's lives?

One look at the thread title says what people need to know about the site. And anyone curious (foolish) enough to look further, and read comments, will realize the site is itself lolcow. I doubt they would go as far as viewing content, unless they're a masochist.

Despite attempts by some staff and members, the site is little more than an a-log forum. I never seen so many morons congregate in one place and congratulate and tell themselves that their attempts to humiliate others is somehow a noble act of journalism, archiving or justice.

Let's be real here... this site is a cesspool of a-logging, trolling and retardation. :sighduck:

Employers and HR managers are busy people. When they have to narrow down a long list of candidates to invite them for interview they don't have time to wade through hundreds of pages of derp. They just look at the title of the page that appears on the first page of a google search and all they need to read is the first post, which in the case of Cyrus has screenshots of him being abusive to lots of people and threatening to hunt down and do harm to Karen Straugham as well as videos of him accusing people of lying about Cancer and his open letter to Thurnderf00t's employer. Derpy McCancerface's twitter might come before her Farms page but the title is hardly flattering and the first page has a picture of her taking a picture of her ass in Target on it.

Good luck getting job interviews with an internet footprint like that.

It's really no big deal. Your notions about how an employer or HR screens candidates suggests you have never had a job or tried to get one. But thanks for confirming this site is nothing but a sewage reservoir of people who actual intend to harm and negatively impact lives.
