Actually I don't think the majority of these gals are actually rape survivors. Not making a judgment on the ones who say in so many words that they are, but I wouldn't assume it about the majority, including the ones who say creepy shit like they want to "reduce the total number of orifices on their body." No that doesn't sound like trauma brain to me. That sounds like the much more common, much more mundane catastrophizing of workaday neurotic anxiety brain. What these girls have is not trauma from having been assaulted, but dread of acquiring that trauma, which they feel sure is both inevitable for females, and something they are incapable of surviving.
Thus we see that the actual problem is not having been damaged by an assault for many of them, but a pair of things that are actually endemic to their generation, and which explains very neatly why troonism suddenly took off with them:
1. A general lack of resilience, having been raised in such a way that they were not allowed space to learn from trial and error enough.
2. An overpowering feeling of doom about being female, what it means to be female, what happens to females in society, caused by the constant drumbeat of "Law and Order SVU" second wave influenced media culture.
Having been subjected to "awareness" about DV, rape, sex pests, and more by their mothers and teachers since they were fetuses, and also told that these things are so devastating they ruin you forever, they are desperate to escape what feels like their inevitable fate. Not because they have personal experience of how bad it is, but because they do not- and thus don't realize that even though it is indeed a very bad thing, it is very much possible for women to survive it and come out the other side in one piece.
tl;dr their self-concept is based in fragility and they think it's only a matter of time until their number comes up to be raped because they grew up with "1 in three women!"
