His coverage of Ragnarok last night was just obnoxious on so many levels and it really made me think that his behaviour is so far out there that it must be done intentionally.
The first thing that jumped out at me was early into the game when the wolf was dying, he just goes into clown mode ack ack'ing every couple of seconds; this to me highlights just how mentally stunted and immature he really is. It's like he has absolute no idea how to read basic social cues and just nervously clowns through it until it's over. I also have to wonder if his extreme awkwardness towards anything sexual is again his immaturity or just that he's an asexual soy cunt. The other annoying as fuck thing he does is pause the game every 10-20 seconds to start trying to incorrectly explain what's going on or simply to read out a $1 tip. I believe this relates to his apparent control fetish, HE gets to decide when the dents get to see moving images and when they have to sit and listen to HIM.
I used to get angry when a certain person just keeps throwing money at him but then I reminded myself that at some point when his whale/s get tired of him (and they certainly will) he is going to be absolutely fucked on so many levels. By continually throwing money at this cunt all his unironic 'fans' are doing is reinforcing his belief that his behaviour is in any way normal or good. Mofo will need years of intense therapy which ofc he won't have the money for because he is speed-running his second bankruptcy collecting jpegs of sweaty men.

Phil really has no fucking idea of how to play the game, nor does he have any idea as to how to add proper commentary to the game. I know he's been doing the "repeating what the characters say" thing for forever, but it just seemed far more obnoxious last night. Fucker can't even be bothered to add a single original thought.

It’s so stupid that he intentionally reads out every single bit of dialogue because he has one blind viewer. There has to be some other way that he would be able to appease SuperBlindMan without slowing everything to a crawl.

I used to get angry when a certain person just keeps throwing money at him but then I reminded myself that at some point when his whale/s get tired of him (and they certainly will) he is going to be absolutely fucked on so many levels. By continually throwing money at this cunt all his unironic 'fans' are doing is reinforcing his belief that his behaviour is in any way normal or good. Mofo will need years of intense therapy which ofc he won't have the money for because he is speed-running his second bankruptcy collecting jpegs of sweaty men.

To be fair, this whale arc is pretty frustrating. I have no idea how ndo is able to tip more often during a recession. There’s way too much clown mode because of the money buff so the salt has to come directly from the game or else it just doesn’t happen.

I don’t think he ever has a real conversation with anyone, maybe in person Khat is a superb and witty conversationalist, with a wide range of insight and opinions on current affairs but from all the evidence anyone outside of pig towers has seen she is a literal potato, only ever speaking when spoken to and is awkward and cold when engaged with, years shut in with jasper and pip can’t have helped that.

It’s also why I believe the emotion shown by pip when discussing his friend who was shot is real, I don’t think he’s ever confronted that in real life, never talked it through or empathized with anyone else affected, it’s still raw to him as he’s buried it away.

He has zero friends, two family members who has a weekly conversation with and a potato wife and catson.

He is fucked when it all falls down and will have years of built up emotional baggage to clear.

I could be wrong, I’m just some no load mentally ill detractor.

I don’t understand why the stupid facecam window is such a problem for Phil. I mean, it makes sense because he’s an idiot, but at the same, I’ve never seen any other streamer constantly have issues with their facecam blocking important shit.

I’ve said it before, we know Phil doesn’t actually care about T or Scott because he didn’t cry in the original video about them. He only cherishes their memories because he can’t move on from his arcade days and they were probably the only people who didn’t immediately dislike him aside from Rambo.

He has always been stuck at middle school maturity. Someone recently posted a review he did of red faction 13ish years ago. The last 20% of the 'review' was him talking with an action figure. He ended the video by asking the action figure how it liked to drink his poopie juice and threw it in the toilet.

The only difference is the mahture ahdult act he is doing. That is why he makes a big fucking deal about doing household choirs like laundry or reacting autistically to digital women, because thats exactly what a 12 year old would do to show off how adult they are.

Listen to his commentary sometimes. The dude has full blown conversations with himself. Paraphrased example:

PoP has pointed it out one stream a couple weeks ago that I realized it. I mean there comes a point where you're thinking out loud but it sounds to me like he's talking to another person, and answering for that person.

Like I get that it's commentary, but as others pointed out, it's pointless and actually takes away from the game. GoW2 is a prime example of that. The game essentially presents itself as the entertainment and him talking over it needlessly ruins any sort of build up or emotion when this fuckin faggot won't stop pausing it it all the time to meander about the story that it's about to answer his "insightful" plot guesses. (He did this a lot during Yakuza LaD where he would pause it during a cutscene and try to guess shit that would get explain as soon as he unpaused it)

DSP just hates them because they get free games while he has to beg for them/buy them himself. Also, it's amazing how Phil manages to pull these stupid takes out of his ass while his head is still up there.

He has already shown that he has no problems with getting free games or getting them early, it's only that he's the one not getting them. He'd immediately change his tune if it were him getting and be accepting them in a heartbeat. And if he were getting free copies, he wouldn't have the decency to at least disclose it.

DSP's problem is he would've been applicable to still get free games even after Machinima dropping him. I say this as someone who knows some YouTuber's; big (but not too big) and small who rate copies. The problem is, he shot himself in the feet so many fucking times, I have to agree with him that no one wants to put up with him; where I differ is it's his behavior, and not behind the scene trolling campaigns.

When his Homefront video dropped and dare I say went viral; easy marketing. "Hi, I'm DSP, longtime YouTube gamer. I started a review channel, one video already went viral, look at how much growth it's having in a small period of time." You know, something to put that business degree to work. They could be a little iffy because of some things, but hey, he gets views, give him a shot.

The problem is Phil doesn't want to be held to a standard; and I'm not just talking about having to say a game is good, but having other things decided for him. Mainly his dumb fucking schedule and to get those day 1 views for a review, he'd have to play the games off-stream (no tips or handholding). So even if he still could get review copies; it'd take up all his free time, and he wouldn't get any immediate rewards for it.

If the government offered "premium" voting that cost $1,000 and was exactly like regular voting but your "i voted" sticker had a 1/10 chance of being rare, phil would be voting in every single election.

Only thing worse than Phil are Pokemon shiny hunters. I could see them doing massive voter fraud to get multiple attempts.

He writes it like it was a review from IGN. Seriously I can just hear the voice over saying almost the exact same things.

Personally I think the game is good so far, but if you compare it to Elden Ring it really comes down to what should be GOTY.

A game that takes risks and does new stuff and fails in some areas(Elden Ring) or a game thats story and characters are good, but is pretty much a big DLC.

I know which one Phil will pick, and he will hint at it being God of War only to switch at the last second and pick Stray.

This is the guy who said "Bugsnax" was his 2020 game of the year yet picked Ghosts of Sushi-Mah, and Psychonauts was his 2021 game of the year, but still chose Resident Evil 8 just to be a contrarian.
