I don't think that is likely to happen soon - mainly due to apathy towards politics but also due to demographics. There are not many young people in Russia (Muslim majority regions aside). Ones that would be prime rebel material either fled to the west, or were sent to get maimed and die in Ukraine. Russians as a populace are apathetic and not prone to rebel by European standards. Things have to get really bad for that to happen. Once Russians rebel, they end up with a different flavor of an authoritarian government in place. That government then ends up pursuing the same goals that caused governments prior to fail. It even uses the same rhetoric of evil western imperialists each time. It's a cycle Russia as a state goes through over and over again.

Modern warfare is a mess because medics often are now carrying weapons which is against the convention and every soldier is trained in some form of first aid so the line between medic and combatant is blurred.
