If you hate Chris, why?

I'd like to submit my essay.

I don't hate Chris, he's done things in the past that have made me annoyed, possibly angry, but I can't say I hate the guy.
Here's why I think people hate him, I could be wrong but....
I think the real reason some people hate him is due to a mix of arrogance and jelousy. It's the same reason you might suddenly dislike someone at your job who got that promotion you wanted and felt you deserved. I don't want to stereotype, but all the haters seem to live and breathe the internet. A-log himself wanted to be the next big YouTube celebrity, he didn't have a career or a big social life, it was all he lived for. These people work hard on their videos, making sure the editing and image placement is just right. They rehearse why they say, saying lines over and over until they get the right tone. They finally make their sad masterpiece and it gets like, maybe 100 views.
They pour their free time into their Sonic OC, comic, or whatever and literally nobody on DA likes/favorites it.
They spend hours writing into their livejournal/tumblr and get nothing.
Meanwhile Chris could literally fart on camera and nothing else and he's got 1,000 likes, 25,000 views, and 250 comments. The envy kicks in, "Why does he get all the attention and fame?" then the arrogance "I should have that because I'm better than him. He sucks. Fuck his talentless ass. I hate him."

That's just the attention, not even the money. Oh, Chris makes money sometimes and it drives people bananas.
"Now he's making money off his shit?!? My work is leagues above him and I don't make shit. Now I really hate him."
"I can't believe people donated money because that piece of shit burned his house down. Would anyone care if I, a better person, lost their house? Seriously fuck him."
"I'd kill DStecks IRL, he's such a moron for giving money to such a worthless waste of matter. My comic is far better but I don't get a dime. But I don't want to look like an bitter A-log so I'll cry about that money possibly going to charity instead."

Because the United States government takes 20% of every dollar I make and uses it not to help people but to pay cwc not to work.

I love how his wacky adventures have brought me joy over the years but this isn't exactly something I can objectively feel good about.

Sports celebrities make millions of dollars for just chucking balls around. I get a lot more entertainment from Chris. But that said, it's painfully obvious that he is retarded and can't hold down any kind of paid job. I think his tugboat is justified.

Seriously, people say "Chris should get a job," like he can just walk into any McDonald's and they'll say "You're in your 30s with zero job expirence outside of the Wendy's that, judging from your resume, probably fired you. You've been charged twice with felonies and convicted of misdemeanors, you dress socially deviant and you literally smell like shit. You're hired."

I would honestly love to see Chris forced to get a job just so he can make an ass of himself. A lot of people have to deal with the stresses of everyday life, so why not give a taste of it to Chris?

If you've followed Chris' Youtube comments, whenever he doesn't disable the comments that's what they consist of. Even the people who criticize Chris on this forum pretty harshly according to our own standards, are much kinder to him than the people on Youtube.

Honestly though, that's really not so much about Chris as it is about YouTube.

I think you're confusing people being irritated by his pathetic e-begging for an expensive video game console and legitimate white-knuckle rage. There's a huge difference and the latter, believe it or not, is not really all that prevalent on here.

Most people know that Chris' life is a sad one with literally nothing going for it. None of us wish him any harm or ill-will. But a lot of us are justified in finding fault with his entitled e-begging and expressing said disgust without being persecuted as A-Loggers. The day when we can't express said disgust without persecution is truly the day when the Kiwi Farms will be fucked.

OP thinks literally any negative comment about Chris is considered A-Logging and has confused all of the frustrated and irritated posts in regards to Chris' actions as hatred toward him.

But the fact of the matter is that no one is really an A-Log here. Or if they start out as an A-Log, they don't stay that way for long. They either change or get banned.

From what I read it seems like some of these haters are active in donating to charity and believe whenever Chris gets money a starving child has food taken directly out of their mouth.
In their minds they are the real heroes and where is their parade.
