Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

So is Gen 9 good, even great? I watched the leaks for a while and the leaked pokemon looked like utter shit, worse than gen 5 or 8's misses, but a few have grown on me. I'll definitely be buying scarlet over violet if the game is worth it, cause the robot paradox pokemon didn't look good imo.

There were other options, but because of these faggots running Ubers as well your options were pretty much so niche that you need to play deep mind games to even have an opening. DV only had 70% Acc, but because it targeted all 3 on your opponents Pokemon that con was extremely minimal. It just wasn't feasible to run a complete/near complete anti-sleep that could also withstand powerhouses that don't even need to boost. The entire meta boiled down to whoever got DV off first.

DV is as nerfed as it is today because of Smeargal, funnily enough, but it's a testament to how fucking broken and meta defining it was even in doubles. Triples really just gave it a larger playing field to show off just how broken it was.

For those of you who are playing S/V, has anyone been getting headaches from playing it? I heard that some people are experiencing motion sickness while playing the game, presumably due to things such as the FPS drops.

Too bad about the bugs outside of them from the little bit I played I quite liked the game. Hopefully they fix it quickly because I don't think I want to play a game that crashes every hour or so.

All the models look terrible in this game. I feel like they used Umiis like in BotW but had to do their own proprietary one and it just came out terrible.

I'm about halfway through and I haven't had any wild shit happen. The memory leak is annoying and wild mons will spawn inside walls sometimes but I haven't seen any T-posing or had my mons clip through the floor in battle. Haven't had any crashes either. Not to say they don't happen to other people though.

I haven't really experienced anything besides performance issues and a single Klawf just standing in place and having no interaction, but that's about it. Glitches and bugs themselves don't seem to be  that common, but the performance alone is so laughable for a main series title that that alone is gonna leave a very sour mark on this one to my prediction.

I weep for kids starting with this as their first generation. Who needs a badass war vet, a cute tomboy, or a fucking NINJA for Gym Leaders when you've got this vile blob of diversity instead. Just let this shit die already.

When playing this your mind will constantly alternate between two things:
- Wow, this game plays just like I wanted a Pokemon game to play like!
- Holy shit this thing is held together with duct tape, spit and hope.

There's several QoL features in here (like Autosave) that I assume are here to counteract some of the bugs (like the two crashes I've already experienced).

With that said, a fair bit of the jank I've encountered is very skyrimesque, in that it's fun jank you can use to exploit the game. Like engaging in a fight with a Pokemon across a chasm to leap over there.

This game should have been delayed. I am enjoying it, but it really, really should have been delayed.
