As I said previously, Musk aims for the sky then brings in really fucking talented people to actually try to get there. This doesn't surprise me very much, especially once you've looked at the senior people brought in for companies like SpaceX and Neuralink. Even the obvious diversity hires have credentials that are relevant.

Nah, he's been saying from the gate he wants to follow the local rules, which is about as good as it can get - Twitter doesn't have supranational authority or sovereign immunity. What he isn't doing, is applying one countries rules globally. So even if the EU explicitly legislates "Alex Jones is not allowed on Twitter", all he'd due is block that account from being served in the EU. The EU could try to sue over it, but it'd be a nightmare when you've by all accounts achieved the goal of the law regarding EU citizens.

One thing worth noting about him for people who don't know him from the ps3/iOS scene is that he's a massive drama queen.
